Diabetes Information - helpful websites
Here is a link to the FDA web site on diabetes. There are numerous articles there on what diabetes is, food and diet, glucose meters, insulin, medications... as well as news articles. This site has a lot of information on different kinds of diabetic pills.

And not to be outdone, there is also the Canadian Diabetes Association
http://www.diabetes.ca/ where there is lots of information and useful links.
After all, insulin WAS invented by a Canadian - not that we are a bragging nation!

This website is sponsored by Lifescan/One Touch. It has some nice features, like an automatic menu maker, and a fitness tracker. You do have to register to use it, but it is open to anyone, not just One Touch users.

WIN - Active at Any Size
Just came across this site and thought it sounded like a great addition to this sticky . . .
http://win.niddk.nih.gov/publications/active.htm
Some good information for those with diabetes or any other obstacles that are slowing them down. At the bottom of the basic publication, there are also a bunch of really great links to other publications, videos, etcetera.
Keep it moving and shaking, gang.
