Could you and some friends borrow a church hall or something and charge for a "parent's night out"? Movies and games for the kids and charge $3/kid/hr or even just ask for donations...

Midwife, I love it that is a great idea.

Well you can do a bake sale, sell soap small car wash at the church talk with a local pizza shop ask them what the cheapest price you can get for a sub and see if you can sell them at full price for the subs you can go around your neighbor hood and ask for donations.

Hi!!

I'm currently trying to raise money for a fundraiser now too.

Some of the things I've done so far is sent out donation letters. And I decorated little buckets and handed them out to friends and family and asked them to collect their change for the next couple months and donate it to me No one minds donating pocket change!

How about asking your parents about holding a garage sale with the profits going towards your band trip? You can help them clean out the house of unwanted items and then organize the sale.

Or offering to mow neighbors lawns or help with gardening chores, maybe washing their car or dog . . .Explain why you are looking to make some extra money and I'm sure they will help you out.

I'm not sure if your school would allow it, so you'll need to ask your principal but when I was in high school, I raised money by selling candy. I bought the candy in bulk (like Sam's Club or Costco), then charged like 25-50 cents each. (which was just over double what I had paid) I had another classmate who did the same thing, only he sold roses.

There are lots of cool things at the Oriental Trading Co that you could buy & resell too. (bookmarks, coinpurses, stuffed animals, toys)

Good luck!
