Try this link for some ideas from the people on these boards - it may help.

3FC - Share your budget shopping tips

You can definately eat healthily on a budget. Think of making things in bulk, ie, vegetable sauces that you can have on rice or couscous.

Ms Provedince, Good luck! and WELCOME!
I buy most of my produce at a local farmer's market, its about 1/2 the cost of a regular grocery store and usually much tastier because its local (and picked ripe, not 2 months early then sent on a truck across the country).

Have you considered body for life. Since you work at a gym, and love tuna, its the first thing that came to mind. It is an awsome program!

Yes, I did body for life. It is awsome. If you bye the book, and/or the journal, it is like having a personal trainer. I personaly used the regualr type of bfl. There is one for women, but i really don't know anythng aobut it. I used to be in awsome shape, and I can say this is definintly the way to go if you like working out at the gym. (It seems that I let "life issue" get in the way of my progress lately, but as soon as I get back on track, I'll be on a body for life type of program)
