Smile Hi all

Hi Everyone~ I'm brand new to the forums & wanted to introduce myself. I need to lose about 55-60 pounds. I'm sure I'll need cheering up along the way & thought this might be a good place to get it. My Husband is a great cook & loves to feed me , so that'll be an extra challenge.

I don't know what diet you're interested in but if your DH likes to cook perhaps you should try the Mediterranean and/or Sonoma diets. Weight Watchers also lets you eat the foods you want but keep track with points. Or just calorie counting. I got a great cookbook recently The Best Light Recipe from the staff of Cooks Illustrated and America's Test Kitchen. They actually test and experiment with recipes to come up with the Best one. There are lots of Mediterranean and WW cook books out there plus lots of recipes here. Enjoy!

Talking Thanks

Thanks SSarah & BrownEyedJ for saying hi. I appreciate the suggestions about cookbooks & diets. I'm going out to the library today to borrow a few cookbooks & other helpful stuff. I'm definitely interested in the Mediterranean diet. TTFN~
