Unhappy *sigh* I did bad today

I'm on Phase 2 and had been doing well. BUT, I went to a reception today and...blew it. I just couldn't pass up a canoli and these awesome cheesecake mini treats. I also had a piece of quice which couldn't have been good. And about 10-15 Synder Honey Wheat Pretzel Twists. Ugh, why did I do that! I've been on SB for about 4 weeks, maybe 5. And I feel like I've thrown it all down the tubes.

So what's the plan now? Do I go back on Phase 1 for 2 weeks?

Darlin elizabeth... We are human dear.. Forgive yerself fer your fall from food grace, and start a fresh tomorrow... now then: you could go back to phase 1 for a week, or do a phase 1.5 or 2 .. If you find yourself really craving refined foods, and not in control, maybe go to phase 1 again..Phase 1 is really all about getting rid of bad carb cravings and the first stepping stone to eating healthy unrefined foods... If this was just a one time indiscretion, well, we all havem, just resume eating as you have been. Not to worry, your hard work won't be undone by one episode..just nip it in the bud!!

I second that, one day of indiscretions doesn't undo over a month of good work. Just get back on P1 for a few days if you feel cravings, if not, just get back to a good OP P2. Chin up, darlin'! It happens to all of us, trust me, I know

We all boo-boo once in a while. Try not to be too hard on yourself and just go on PI for a couple of days if the cravings come back. I bet they won't though over one indescretion. Remember Dr. A. talks about that in his book. You didn't blow it, you just ate some foods that you are no longer part of your everyday eating. Stressing over that one day will probably cause some cravings so let it go and enjoy today.

Don't beat yourself up over it. We all have days like that, and all you have to do is get up tomorrow and have a nice on-program day. I know it feels a bit discouraging when things happen, but we're all human and we all have cheat days once in a while.

My advice, forget about it, move on. I don't like when we use words like "cheat" or "bad" to describe our actions because it denotes negativity. I like to think of this as a lifestyle and occasionally we are in situations that will result in eating something that we don't eat everyday....that does not make us "cheats" or "bad" it just makes us human. I think the fact that we stay mindful of our mission all of the time is really good. I know that for me, in the past, I wouldn't have given a second thought to what I ate at a reception...that was the "old me"...not who I am now. Best of Luck!
