Hey! I'm actually calorie counting. I have had SO many friends that have lost 75, 80 plus pounds just counting calories. I can see why it works so well too-- I like to eat BUT if I watch how much I'm eating and write it all down, I do so much better-- Also, if I want those MandMs I can have them-- They just go down as part of my calorie intake. My doc told me that I should be almost to my goal in less than a year, which is so awesome. I gotta say, I really got motivated when I walked into the doctors office (please remember I go to a Naval Hospital and the docs are all super trim and fit), and he said, well you need to make a major change in your life or I'm going to seriously recommend gastric by-pass. I was like WOAH. The only downside I'm having is that I can't hang out with my only friend down here because she is happy being heavy, and I just can't join on to that eating plan/lifestyle anymore. I love to excersise though-- and I'm looking forward to being able to run.
