Hi there. I've been up since 4:45 thanks to Miss Lucy's bladder and the puppies pressing on it. Of course, the Girls go and do potty, eat breakfast and then go back to sleep!

There's lots to get done today to crank up the Syrup Festival for 8 AM tomorrow. I'll spend a lot of time on the phone this morning but also hope to get a bit more outside work done, work in a visit to Harry, give Candice a few "hints" on cleaning my house better and make it to Church for seven tonight.

There's a lovely white daisy mum plant on my kitchen table - very springlike - and my scillas have started to bloom under the trees beside the barn.

Today I plan to take time to smell the scillas.

Whew, has this ever been a busy week, TGIF! At least yesterday I managed to get some things done, Maggie and I ran some errands before picking up Amber and Audrey from school. At least now I'm not feeling so overwhelmed. When I came home, Jake was just finishing up mulching the flower beds, so that's another thing to scratch off my list, too. We're having my entire family here for Easter dinner, and I was starting to feel stressed about not having time to get things ready. Jake doesn't know it yet, but he's going to help me clean the house tomorrow.
Our Curves is closed today, so I have a little extra time this morning and I'm trying to get some laundry done before I leave. I hope Cindy doesn't need me all day today so I can come home early, and maybe talk Jake into going out for dinner tonight.

Enjoy your Friday, and remember "the reason for the season".

Good morning, ladies! We had storms early this morning that woke me up around 5. Never really went fully back to sleep after that as my alarm was set to 6 am. I turned it off at 5:50 and then layed in bed until 6:50 ! My kitty was just too snuggly to move! But I'm up now and have eaten a bowl of high fiber cereal with a bananna and am now having coffee. I've got a meeting at 10 then plan to come home and work on my final paper for my env. policy class. In 2 weeks I will be done with classes forever and ever and ever!! I'm so excited. I've been in school so long....6 years of classes so far! I can't even imagine life without classes. Of course for the rest of the year I have lots of other stuff to do like finish up my thesis but at least one big milestone is down!!

want2b: thanks for starting us up. have a great day at work.

Ruth: have fun at the maple festival. sounds fun. so, Lucy's puppies should be due in a few weeks, right? I'm so excited. Little fluffy black tiny bears! You better overload us with pics.

cottage: whew! busy busy! try to find time to relax and take some time for yourself too. enjoy the holidays with your family.

Good Morning ladies, Ya know the only way to jump in on this here thread is to up by 8 AM,, we need a PM thread,, I dont do mornings..LOL..
Well all is well here in West Virginia, few thunderstorms and what not, little chilly this morning, Not cold though,I am on my 4th cup of coffee,, 4 more to go, I cant function without alteast 8 cups to get me revven for the day, I am going to Withdraw from a couple of My classes and take them in the summer time so I can spend all my time on the two I am struggling in,, That is the only solution I can seem to come up with, I fill like a failure when it comes to Math, but, if I take it this summer I can go 4 days a week instead of one day a week, I think if I go more perhaps this will help, dont know what the best thing to do is,, JUST need to learn it and retain it..................

Hi All & HAPPY EASTER!!

We woke up to our dog being a pistol this morning (I think it was because of the thunderstorms we had) -- he found a sock and attacked it then ran around the house with it. After getting that from him, he found my daughter's favorite stuffed animal - oh he is on her list today! LOL

Good Morning! It is a beautiful day here in INdiana! It is supposed to be HOT later. Unusual for April. My little girls are already awake so I think we will do the grocery shopping as soon as I can get us out of here and then enjoy the rest of the day.

Pear: You must have heard the same Thunder storms as Me! Awesome about being almost done with Classes! You must be thrilled!

Cottage: Good Luck & Blessings with your Easter dinner! I hope you get to eat out dinner tonight!

Ruth: Have fun with Syrup festival. Puppies will be so FUN! Work but FUN!

Crock: Have a great day! I hope it works out dropping those classes for now.
Happy Easter weekend everyone!

P.S. I ate pizza last night. I have really let myself slip this week. I was at a meeting and it was dinner time.... I had 2 pieces of pepperoni which was all they had available and a salad w/no dressing. But then I ate a piece of the apple dessert pizza. I felt so bloated and awful by the time I got home. I will just have to remember how I feel when I eat that way and then make better choices next time. We are out of everything so I have to go to the store this morning and make good choices! I want to make the grilled vegetables from the SB book. Those are my favorite but they are expensive to make!

I hope you are all avoiding sugar!! I am NOT going to eat Sugar this easter weekend because I'll feel bloated and yucky and I want to reach my goal of losing 10 more pounds before May 18th.

Good morning chicks

DH and I both have the day off from work and I'm so looking forward to being able to finally get some things done around the house. The baby was up at 5 this morning...ugh, but at least the big one slept until 7:30. I went a little off plan last night, but I'm hoping to right things today.

Everyone have a good OP day!

Why is it that Good for you food costs so much here in the US<, do they want us to be fat and have money ,, or skinny and poor,,,,,,,, I paid for lean hamburger $3.08 a lb, then to get the SBD bbq sauce and all the stuff to be OP, and all the mixens to make bbq chicken, and the Spaghetti , and taco bake, and some salad things,(enough to make it a week ) was a grand total of $78.00 What is this about, you can by Chips ahoy 2 dozen for 3 bucks, but the SBD chocolate chip cookies for 5 sevings is 2.98,, that is 10 cookies,,, ughhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly think I am gonna go kill a deer and have it ground into hamburger,,, Much cheaper,, good lord, I cant wait till hunten season.. October...

I'm off work today but I did do a little work this morning and need to stop by the office later to look for some paperwork for a very early meeting on Monday. I need stuff from 15 years ago and I just don't keep that readily available. I'm fighting a headache today. I had one yesterday too. I think it is allergies but it could be stress.

The Roundtable meeting last night was fun. Today Brian is off school and we are going with friends to the Good Friday service this afternoon. I did go out yesterday and get a new outfit for tomorrow when he gets his sacraments. I almost went with a dress but it was dry clean only and I am too cheap for that. This outfit (shirt and pants) can be worn to work too.

Tomorrow will be a long day. Prayer service and rehearsal starts at 9AM and will go until around 11. THen we get back together at 6:30 and it will last until after 11PM and then there is a reception afterwards. I have GOT to get rid of this headache.

Good Morning Ladies!!!!!

Hope you're all having a great day so far.

I just started SB Monday and just wanted to say thank you for all the help and support there is in here.

I've been doing well with the food and exercise and thanks to some info from you I think I have lived through the first week of headaches!!!!!

Going out with my family today (They're down visiting us at our new house). Hope it's not too soon to be grabbing something for lunch in a restaurant. I guess it'll be a good test to see just how committed I am...LOL

Gonna get moving....Just wanted to pop in and say thanks!!!!!

Good morning Chickies and TGIF!! I REALLY need the weekend...it's been a long week. I did much better yesterday and stayed mostly OP. Today, I'm going to try being entirely OP! LOL

Is anybody else thinking about Sunday? We don't have any little ones at home so I'm not worried about the chocolate and goodies, but I am having family over for dinner. It will be mostly OP food, but there are a few things I'm making that others enjoy that I can't have, so I'm going to try my hardest to "be good".

MsCrockett, I know just what you mean about good food being so expensive! I really do believe that "the powers that be" in the grocery world want us to eat stuff that's bad for us because they can make more money selling it to us! My grocery bill went up by about 30% when I started SB! Ouch.

Anyway, expecting some rain today which I'm looking forward to. With the rain and it being Friday, it's going to be a GREAT day!

Weellll I just finished writing a big long post saying hi to everyone when my internet froze so no individuals today- sorry!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYON!

I did an hour long cardio kickboxing class at my gym this morning. It was SOO fun! It was funny because after about a half hour I had so much sweat dripping down my face I though the class would be over soon. Then I looked at my watch and realized I still had half an hour left! It was definitly a good workout- I'm going to try and make it to those classes more often.

Long day at work today (Holday pay! Yay!) so I wont be on until later. Have a good day everyone! TGIF!

Good morning!!
It's raining! yuk! Boy, this week flew by....They seem to do that alot lately, old age I guess..
I am sticking to the diet 5 days in!!!! Although I don't think I eating enough snacks because I am getting lightheaded in the noon hours..any tips?

MsCrockett- I to feel the pinch when shopping for this diet, I think that is why a lot of people are over weight because good food is sooooo expensive..As for the deer, I have a freezer full...My DH is a hunter...I am not an eater of the bambi meat...can't get past the thought of it....My DD will eat the sausage...Deer Sausage would be ok to eat in P1? right? because of the low fat content??? Not that I would eat it....Maybe....

I hope everyone has a great SBD day!!
