Default Need a swift kick in the you know what....

So this is a rant about myself. I was doing so well with working out and then I let life get in the way again. Oh im to tired, I have to go here, I have to go there. Well because I can't get off my lasy behind, I have stalemated at 250. Now I know that I was this weight for a really long time but I figured with all the different tricks that my nurses have tried would kick my weight in gear. Obviously for me its not the eating part. I know cuz I have cheated here and there and still have just maintained, no real gain. So can someone in here give me a good talking to to motivate me to move again. I start a new job on Monday that will give me lots of time to work out. I'm thinking of trying a challenge just dont know what it should be, anyone have any ideas. I go to Vegas in a little over a month with my best guy friend and would love to be able to be at least another 20 down (my weight loss program is designed for this kind of rapid weight loss). So please, please help. You guys are always so encouraging. Have a wonderful night everyone.

One lucky leprechaun for the progress already made (8 weeks)

I'm on a program called Lindora in California. Its a medical run program, that you have to go in everyday and see a nurse.

I assume this is something you are paying to be a part of... The only thing I can think to motivate you is what motivated me when I was spending a buttload of money on Meridia and Xenical:
If I'm gonna pay for it, I'm gonna make it work for me... it is way too expensive to pay for this and not follow through with it all the way.
That was enough to motivate me and I lost 45lbs (this was 3 years ago)... I couldn't afford to stay on the meds, and I gained the weight back within a year.
MOney is certainly a good motivator, but if you haven't found something else to keep you going in the future, it might backfire because it won't work forever.
Not to sound rude or anything, but I am just curious why the thought of going to Vegas isn't motivating enough?

I have two motivators, though neither is doing well right now as I'm in a slump (that I'm working to get out of, since it's only 2 days so far and I can't possibly regain more than 2 pounds in 2 days, so it's impossible that all is lost and I'm doomed, which is what it feels like).

1. Upcoming vacations. For some reason, this isn't helping as much lately, but I haven't been obsessing about them like I used to. So I need to web surf more, and investigate hotels, and read travel sites, and get excited. I have a 6-day vacation to the Yucatan at the end of May, and a 6-week trip to Asia in December that I really want to be under 200 for. That's like 1.5 pounds a week, should be doable.

2. Doctor appointments. I went to the doctor (after years of phobia keeping me back), and we're on a schedule that I've requested, and she's supported, of going back every 3 months to 'check in'. I have health insurance at work, so between 'morbid obesity' and 'PCOS' she can justify it to the insurance company so that I only have a copay. She's a good person to talk to, and just knowing that I'm going in keeps me accountable more.
