Are there any DAYS fans out there? I think it'd be fun to start a thread and talk about the daily story lines! LOL, or maybe I'm just obsessed.
For me, I'm getting a little sick of the storylines dragging on like they are. I know it's a soap opera, but COME ON! How long do we have to wait for Belle and Shawn to get back together, and for Mimi to tell Shawn that he's Claire's dad. It's making me so mad.
And Chelsea...ugh. She's the ! I just want to strangle her.
The John/Marlena/Alex story better quit soon. When will she ever get her memory back??
Who does everyone want together concerning Carrie/Austin/Sami/Lucas? I kinda want Carrie to have no one...LOL. She's starting to get on my nerves. Or maybe I'm just jealous cuz I've never had 2 guys after me...hehe. I think Sami and Lucas belong together, and it's obvious they still love each other. And Kate is another that needs a swift kick in the petunia!
Any thoughts anyone? I'm watching today's episode right now on the Soap channel.
I DVR it, AMC and GH. I watch AMC and GH on the week-ends, but I have to watch Days EVERY NIGHT!!
They are infamous for dragggggiiiinnnnggggg out their stories, though--always have been.
I want Lucas and Sami together and Carrie and Austin to go back wherever they came from! Carrie is just TOO good! I mean, please, whaa, cry me a river--she really "loves" Austin but she chose Lucas because she and Austin can't have a baby together? That's not love--hasn't she ever heard of adoption? I wish that when all of this comes out that they'd be mad at HER, but you know it'll all come back on Sami.
Sami reminds me of me I just want her to be loved.
I hate the Chelsea storyline, too. She is a total demon! Takes right after grandma there!
Mimi won't be the one to tell Shaun about Claire. It'll come out somewhere else, but he'll know that she knew it all along. Of course, that'll leave the opening for Mimi and Phillip to get together. Does Phillip not get on your nerves the way he always butts into conversations and speaks for the person who's trying to say something "important?" Ugh.
I forward through Alex/John/Marlena. Who cares? We all know how THAT's gonna turn out!

Patrick and Hope..... Maybe for awhile, but nah. She and Bo will get back together..... eventually.
Billie...... Don't know what'll happen to her. Maybe she and Chelsea will drive over a cliff.

Abe and Lexie will stay together. I don't think she'd ever leave him for Tech for good. She's just playing around.

I agree about the John/Marlena/Alex thing. Knowing Marlena's luck...since John is planning to gun down Alex...he'll probably try to get Alex at the wedding, miss, and accidentally hit Marlena. And then she'll end up in a coma or something and have amnesia when she comes out of it. LOL
I'm a days fan....have been watching for eons and eons. But......they do carry things on way toooooo long. Poor Marlena, how long has it been since she has just been happy and had plain old soap opera stuff to worry about. Lets see....kidnapped, possessed, kidnapped, killed, brainwashed. You would think she would go to the writers and say enough is enough for a little while. I really want Shawn to know about Claire also. He probably won't find out until she is like 15 or so though. I'm just plain ole tired of Sammie/Lucus/Carrie/Austin. I'm thinking of not watching for a few months just to save myself the agony of wanting to get on with it already. Knowing me though, I'll still DVR it and watch it everyday or at least three times a week. It's hard to get over a 40 year old habit. My grandmother started me on days way back at the beginning and I hadn't even started school but can remember when she babysat me, we had to stop whatever we were doing so we could watch Days.
I really want Shawn to know about Claire also. He probably won't find out until she is like 15 or so though

Days started about a day or two after I was born...and my mom has been watching it EVERY SINGLE DAY ever since. So, Marlena...Alice...Bo...Hope and all them are like my own family members.
BUT...
They lost me when they killed every single person on the show off and then we find out they are all on some weird island that looks just like Salem? I was soo friggen P...O'ed!!! How dare they toy with our emotions like that. So, I haven't watched it since. And that horrible JAN. And that ******ed guilded cage thing she kept Sean in.

LIke a fool, I'm itching to get back to it again, but my son makes it really hard as, if the TV's on, soap operas are unacceptable, so we just keep it off. He'll be in school this fall, so I may start up again...or maybe I'll just be a mean mom and make him watch it with me.
My mom keeps me up to par on what's going on...and it usually takes about two episodes to get up to snuff even without a coach. So, you'll probably be seeing me on here, too.

It's really weird for me too. I can't get used to Chris Kosochek (sp?) being Roman and Roman being Alex. I guess the Roman/Alex thing makes it easy for those Alex/Marlena flash backs though. I read somewhere that the guy that played Justin Kuriakis (sp?) which was Adrienne's husband may come back (probably just a rumor because I think he is on another soap opera). Wouldn't that be weird because Adrienne is now Bonnie.
I love Days!!! I've been watching on and off for years, now I record it every day. I also record Passions, I know that it is a completely ridiculous soap opera but I can't help it, I'm hooked!!
I am also sick of the whole Marlena/Alex/John storyline is getting very boring....
I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I personally can't stand Belle! I know her and Shawn are supposed to be together and all that, but she's ridiculous! If I were Mimi, I'd kick her a**! You've got your own husband, keep your hands off of mine!

I've never gotten into Passions...but if I were younger and had time, I probably would love it's campiness. It's like this generations' Dark Shadows....now THAT show I LOVED!!!
It's a great show!! I love how "out there" and unrealistic it is! Plus, it's not difficult to get into if you haven't watched it before. The storylines are basically explained in every episode, that's probably the one annoying thing about it.
