New to the Group but not Calorie Counting
Hi! My name is Susan and I'm a calorie counter too. I use Calorie King for my logging food and exercise. I have Celiac disease, so I can't consume anything with gluten in it which lets out probably 1/2 the foods on the market. So I tend to stick to natural foods like meats, dairy, fruits, veggies and some carbs in the form of sweet potatoes, potatoes, brown rice and corn and beans.
I follow the calorie counting plan whereby I determine my BMR and then subtract 1000 calories a day from that to lose 2 lbs per week approximately. Right now I'm at the 1700 calorie range. I add back in exercise calories burned to eat net calories each day or at least come pretty close to it.
