Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for free blog or journal sites? I know about fitday already and hope to start using that again soon. I used to use freewebs but they have issues often. Yahoo 360 is a pain lol. I was just wondering if there was anything else available out there for free. Thanks in advance.
Thank you both very much for your help. I do apprecaite it. I couldn't figure out those sites though. I have had a long day trying different sites so everything just seems confusing to me anymore. I did make a new site though! Back to freewebs again... because that is what I know already. But thanks a million again for your help!
Hi, I use extra pounds .com Find it pretty straightforward and it lets you track your weight, project when you may reach goal, journal your food and activity.
Thank you all so much for all of your replies. I do apprecaite all of the information here.
I had to cancel/delete my freewebs site again. Sheesh... freewebs has more trouble then anything I have ever seen online! Most of the people I know that had freewebs sites recently cancelled/deleted there sites.
I am going to have to check out all of the sites mentioned here again. They just looked so confusing to me lol. But I am going to have to check them out again. I enjoy having a site up.
I use live journal as well. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but eventually I got it and now it's fine. I also use (just started) a free place called ***********.com for logging food and exercise and other goal related stuff.
I love blogspot... I have never used a blog site before, and I'm pretty dumb when it comes to computers, and I have found it pretty easy to use. Hope this helps, and goodluck!!
I am a blogger.com user myself. You can see my blog in my signature, but then again I am a web designer for a living LOL so mine is not a template they offer.
Jumping in to say that I've been using blogger for over a year, both for a general and diet blog, and I love it. (If you want to see mine there is a link in my profile.) It does take a tiny bit of figuring out to get the settings how you like them, but it's not too involved. It has a very nice FAQ section to help you out with questions and technical issues. It also offers several choices for pre-made designs which involve little to no HTML/coding knowledge, or if you want you can design your own. I also know a lot of people who use LiveJournal and enjoy it for journaling.
Thanks! I will have to check out the FAQ section. I have been looking at Yahoo 360 a bit. But it is still new and don't show many examples. But I am checking out many things. I am going to go and check out the FAQ page now though on the blogger site.
