No, you don't have to be a mother to participate in a Mother's Day Challenge.
Choose to strive for a specific scale weight, a particular measurement, drinking more water, an exercise goal, following your food plan for the next 7 weeks--anything you want.
Post your goal here, and I'll bump the thread up periodically so we can measure our progress. And, if you don't make your goal, don't worry! It's all about the journey.
I'm in - I'm aiming for 15 down by then (that will put me at 148lb). I'm happy for this challenge because I'll be on a cruise for the first week of May and this will help keep me in check.

My goal is to lose 15lbs by Mother's Day.
I actually just took a calendar for the rest of the year and wrote down all of my mini goals. Mother's Day happens to be one of them so this works out great.

I don't mean to sound like a dolt, but when the heck is Mother's Day? I've never paid much attention to this since I grew up celebrating no holidays.
edit Nevermind, after googling it I found it's May 14 this year . I'm in foooor.... let's say 20lbs. I guess I'll just now start count the weight loss from my own March goal from now until.
i would love to join this challenge, please put me down for a goal of losing 15 lbs by mothers day, i am hoping for at least 2 lbs avg per week as something doable. i really need to be in a challenge as i have been feeling really motivated and this will give me something to look forward to doing with all this excess energy, thanks so much for suggesting it!
