Default Newbie :o)

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie here. I am a mom of 2, and have been a stay at home mom for years now.
Last April I started a weight loss journey. I completed losing 62 lb then turned around and gained 10 of that back. I am managing to maintain right now but really want to get the last of the weight off. I need to lose about 55 more pounds. Possibly 65. I have seem to hit a stump I can't budge. I can't get past this. I've been off my diet since November and haven't dieted since. It really makes me sick too. I could have lost lots more by now but I'm just
feeling all "BLAH"....

Hi ALP. Let me start by saying hi and I have to say your screen name are my initials. First I have to say congrats on the weight loss that you have had up til now. I can totally relate to you on feeling BLAH. I am feeling that right now. I haven't actively dieted since the first part of December mostly because we moved from Iowa back to my hometown in Iowa. It's been a real struggle for me mentally, emotionally and wrecking havoc on my eating habits. Need I say more. It's hard to live with your parents all over again. I am just hoping that we can get into our own place by the first of the month. I don't think I can handle my mother too much more. I know my husband is having a hard time dealing with her. So that something happens soon.

I had lost 40 lbs. and just feel like I am not doing everything I could. I even fear that I have gained weight in the last 4 months. I dread getting on the scale because I don't want to be faced with the number is wants to show me. I know I am going to have to get on one, but I left mine in Vermont and don't really know where I am going to get on one right now. I am just content if I can stay at the same weight. I'll be happy as long as I don't gain. I won't let it get me down because I just have to be patient and try my best. Just need a bit of a shove in the right direction. If you need to chat or want to be buddies, just PM me and let me know.

I am a mother of 3 of which only one lives with me currently. I am unemployed at the moment and seeking work. I would love to stay home, but right now the situation doesn't allow for that. Hopefully, in the future that is something that I might be able to do. Good luck on your weightloss journey and hope that we can get out of the BLAH's together.

Annie

Hi, ALP, and welcome. Congratulations on losing the first 52 pounds. I know it's discouraging to have gained a bit back, but you've come so far already, you have a lot to be proud of. Maybe you just needed to take a bit of rest before losing the other half of the weight. Anyway, you're ready to get back on track now, and that's great. Do you have any particular eating plan? Are you getting any exercise?
