Oh my goodness, I forgot about the time difference and have just realized Amanda's probably done celebrating her special day already! Well then, we must all celebrate on this side of the ocean in her honour right now!
Happiest of birthdays to sweet Mandy Pandy, who's always a bright spot at this forum and known for being an especially sweet and supportive person. Here's to a wonderful year, full of success, surprises, happiness, fun and fulfilment!
I'm sick at the moment with a really nasty head cold which put a bit of a dampner on the proceedings, but I went out for a meal with a friend in the evening which was nice (and not OP one tiny bit! ).
I had my big (drunken) night out on Friday - me and my friend were both ill but with a show of true British grit we went out dancing till 2.30am! We went to see 'Sister Bliss' from Faithless DJ - the brits (and Kylie) will know who she is! She was excellent - and it's testament to her dj'ing skills (and alot of vodka and redbull) that she got us up dancing for 2hours straight when we were so ill!
Well I am 33 now and this is a year of big changes - I've called off my wedding and relationship and Nige will be moving out soon. I face life as a single girl again for the first time in nearly 8 years - it's exciting and scary! I better get back on the diet ASAP as I'm no spring chicken anymore!
Happy birthday! Congrats on getting your feet moving this past weekend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to dance myself! Isn't it funny how one minute you might be feeling like crap, but the next thing you know you've been dancing for hours? It's like you get this weird "dance energy" out of nowhere!
Wow, Amanda, you DO have a lot of big changes! You sound so determined that I have no doubt this will be YOUR YEAR.
