Broke my plateau..but it wasn't the way I wanted to...
Hey guys and gals....
Well..I stepped on my scale this morning....176...my all time lowest (in years anyways). I'm happy about it BUT you know how I got there????.....compliments of the stomach flu...uggggghhhhhhh. I've been sick with it since tuesday. This is wayyyyyyyyy TMI but I had diarrhea 34 times in a 24 hour period of time...it has been horrible!!!
Anywho...I'm just starting to feel better but still am very weak which is disappointing because I just don't feel up to exercise yet. I was doing so good on my firm workouts but now missed the one yesterday...sigh.
Well..I'm just going to keep going and do the best I can...I realize some of my weight lost may be water weight and may creep back as I start feeling better and actually start eating and drinking...but...it was nice to see an unfamiliar number...what's that called??....ahh...virgin fat territory..LOL.
I've been getting spring fever so bad lately. I've been looking at cute little tankini's ( I just love those), cute little cami's, capri's, and shorts.....I want to be IN some of these things come summer...that's actually what is motivating me right now. We bought a travel trailer last weekend..(a used one in great condition) and we are going to take it to two outdoor music fests and camping up in nothern WI with my parents, sister , and grandma...I'm so excited..it will be so fun!!!! I want to be able to swim, sun bathe, etc without fear of hiding my body. I can do this....I know I can!!!!! I might not be at goal by summer but I should look and feel a heck of a lot better.
Olivia what an awful way to lose some weight. Make sure you rehydrate your body with lots of water. I hope you are feeling much better now. Also, don't be alarmed if the weight goes up again, sometimes that happens after such episodes.
Ugh! I hate the stomach bug! Glad you are on the mend and hope you are 100% real soon. Some of the loss will be water, but hopefully some of it is really gone!! LOL about the virgin fat territory! I have spring fever also and then it had to go and snow last night...
Spring fever in WI? It isn't even close to warm yet! But seriously, I know what you mean about wanting to fit into the cute warm weather clothes. I can't wait until I can start walking outside again! Or take my son to the park, or go geocaching or work in the garden or.....wait a minute....maybe I have a touch of spring fever too! Is it contagious?
Sorry you were sick but glad to hear you are feeling better. Definitely drink lots of water (as soon as it will stay IN anyway).
Apryl,
I've been meaning to ask you...where in nothern wisconsin do you live? You can PM me if you want. (I'm not a stalker, I promise..LOL). I'm just curious because this summer trip we will be taking is in Sarona on Long Lake...are you familiar with that area? My dad would marry long lake if he could..lol. "The walleye capitol of the world" he always says..LOL. He usually goes up every spring on a work fishing trip. We have been going up there off and on for years...very nice area!
hugs,
Liv
Olivia,
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling to great lately. Hopefully it will be completely overwith by the end of the weekend and you'll be back in full force next week.
Certainly sounds like you have a busy summer planned. I'm a little envious. We have our vacation for this year planned for the beginning of May so nothing really exciting for the summer at all.
I'm with you on the spring fever. It's pretty mild here today and it's making me want to see some flowers and green grass. However, I can stand to not have the heat come. Once it gets to around 25, I'm good. Anything more than that and I'm hiding out inside. I love airconditioning!!!!!
