We are a group of determined people who have set a goal to reach within the next 25 days (4 weeks).
Everyone is welcome to join in at anytime during the challenge. All you need to do is set a goal for yourself. It can be weight loss, exercise, or maintenance; whatever it is you need support and motivation for.
We are all here working hard to stay strong and motivated and supporting each other is the best way to do this. Come as often as you can, post as much as you can and make 2006 the year of health and happiness for you!
We will post a new thread each Monday.
It is a documented fact that people who set goals are the most successful. Goals give you long-term vision and short-term motivation. By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. You can see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. By setting goals, you will also raise your self-confidence, as you recognize your ability and competence in achieving the goals that you have set.

Well another week begins! After cleaning up the list and removing those people who have not posted in the last 3 threads we are down to 33 participants. The total weight loss for the group is now at 239.8
That is just fantastic everybody! Great job!
Now I am going to do a little magic and sprinkle over each and everyone of us! We have just 4 short week to go to complete the challenge and I would like to see us all reach our goals.
Now is the time to look at your goal and determine if it is reachable or if not then set a new goal. I am going to look at mine after I WI tomorrow and will post my plan then.
I had been stalled for a while, but I'm now pleased to say I'm down 1.5 pounds. Maybe I'll make my target after all (or at least get close!) I've started doing 20 minutes on the treadmill on the days I don't go to Curves - that's probably helping to get me losing again.
take another pound off for me!!! i dropped down to 178 today. wish i could have made it for friday's weigh in last week, but i'll take it on monday too. i am feeling soo good about this. i only have 5 pounds more to loose for april 1st goal. i'm not sure i will make the whole 5 pounds, but i will continue to try my best.. thanks for all of your support.
i have also been over in the recipes department this weekend printing out some to try at home. i went shopping and i'll let you know how some of the recipes turn out.
PenPal & Lumi- I'm diong my Happy dance for you. great job. Keep it up !!!!!!!!! Just wanted pop right in. I can't belive the other forum is full and we had to start another one. I guess it's a good thing right. It's good to know that we all come here to support each other and congrat each other
That came in very useful this weekend. I ate not a single Girl Scout cookie! Although I ate two today I ate very clean all weekend and walked 2 miles in spite of my aches and pains. Weighed in 1 pound down at the doctor's office. Just keep truckin' on!
I finally get back on track and then I get my period. So I have no weigh-in this week. Hopefully I'll have one to report for next Sunday.
I've been sick, today is the third day. My daughter was sick first and of course I caught it. I'm hoping there is only a day or two more of feeling like crap. Even if I'm not 100% I want to at least be able to get back to exercising by Wednesday.
Hey girls!!
Great job! I have not lost any weight for two weeks now, and I have a feeling that I am not going to lose weight this week either. I am kinda mad at myself, but I have to keep on going, I have been sticking to my diet and exercising, but I am on a LONG plateu. I am crossing my fingers for good result tonight. Good job ladies!
I had a really hectic, stressful week last week and wasn't able to find the time to weigh myself or post, but I weighed in just now and I have lost 3lbs despite my bad eating habits last week and my alcohol consumtion during my friend's birthday weekend.
I did 4 miles yesterday I am going to set a goal to do 28 miles this week...or die trying...lol I have got to have a loss this week.I will keep you posted on how I am doing ....
