I'm New!
Hey everybody! I'm Jamie, and obviously I'm looking to lose some weight!! I'm 20, and I'm in college. I just transferred to a new college and so far I've found it easier than at my original school to lose/ not gain weight. However, since I transferred in the middle of the year I have a lot less of a social life here and therefor a lot less eating/ drinking socially so that definitely makes it easier. I've tried a lotttt of diets.... weight watchers, la weightloss, slim fast, south beach, cabbage soup and other fad diets, etc. While some of the diets definitely worked I never felt as motivated as I do now. My parents often bribed/ pressured me and of course I always wanted to lose weight but I didn't want to work for it. Now I feel like its finally time that I want to lose weight, for MYSELF, and I don't mind working at it. It's hard because I'm a poor college student and eat in the cafeteria but I'm trying. I've been trying to do south beach, cause that's something I can afford and am able to do in the caf but haven't been able to 100% do it yet because of outside factors. I have lost weight since I've been at this school though so I'm very happy. Right now I'm 192, and about 5'3. I'm looking to make it down to about 125 I think. I'd definitely like to lose at least 20 lbs by may/summer. I'd love to have diet buddies! I'd love to hear from anyone who would want to buddy up/ can offer advice or recommend a good diet for dorm life! THANKS!
