Default kick up the backside please

since christmas i'd lost 11lbs and i was doing quite well til three weeks ago. then i got a cold, and the first thing i do when i feel ill is eat. so i started eating whatever i wanted, and put on 1-2lbs. not too bad i suppose but not going the right way!

anyway then i went and had a pizza, and i'm intolerant of wheat so i've added 5inches to my waist in bloating, i've put 5lbs on due to bloating and i feel like s**t.

i'm so stupid. i'd managed 8 weeks without any wheat (bit of a record for me!) and then i go and do this. and now it's a viscious circle, as i reckon i've eaten wheat and feel crap, so a little bit more can't hurt much more.

argh! give me a good kicking please!

Why don't you keep a food diary and a mood diary - see if you can tie up when and why you eat. It sometimes helps if you can work out a pattern.

You can do it!!

Seriously, start afresh, go to Tesco, buy a fortune's worth of fresh fruit and veg that excites you, cherries, grapes, butternut squash, mangoes, pineapples. Then enjoy that fruit and veg and think, "Who needs pizza anyway?!" After a while your tastes will change. Don't beat yourself up about it.

If you think about it, punishing yourself for overeating by overeating is like being suspended from school for skiving a day!

So forgive yourself and get back to it. Being wheat free is hard, I tried it for a while, you'll FEEL better without it.

Chill out and start over

Can you flush the bloating with water?......My sister is allergic to wheat, I am not........so I cant relate...but i know when she gets bloated because she ate some form of bread, she drinks hot water with fresh lemon, and it really helps her....i couldnt believe it when I saw the results first hand when she visited in October. I hope this can help you some to get rid of bloating!!......
.I made her a pizza on baked egg plant.......you season the egg plant slices in italian seasoning and oilve oil, until crispy and browned then add your pizza fixens and broil it under the grill, until the cheese bubbles...she said it was a really yummy substitute for pizza.

thanks for the kicks guys. i've been fairly good today. cereal, some roast corn kernels, veggie soup and chocolate flavour rice cakes..... i can do this...

and i think i'll try the hot water and lemon....
