Default Attach of the Girl Scout Cookies

A little help here. I no sooner think that I'm finally on the right track to losing weight, I forgot that a couple of months ago I ordered Girl Scout Cookies from one of my co-workers daughter. So now I have 4 boxes of cookies sitting under my desk. What to do. Why does this have to be so incredibly hard? Meanwhile everyone around me is grubbing on cookies. Well I just need to vent. I think that I'll get up from my desk and go for a walk.

Oh my! Run! lol

Seems like you've got the right idea going for a walk. Pretty soon, everyone will have finished eating their cookies and things will hopefully get back to normal. As for yours, maybe you can share them so there will be less of them left to tempt you Nothing wrong with a little taste if you can plan for it, but sometimes it's easier just not eat them to avoid 1 turning into 2 turning into 3 turning into...

You're stronger than the cookies!

You could always walk on the cookies...would take care of two things at once.

Not only that, but could give the cookies away to someone, or sell them to someone else.

How about mailing them off to a friend/realative as a mini-gift? I know my younger brother would appreciate getting a little cookie gift. If you don't want to eat them and/or don't trust yourself around them, definitely get rid of them!

Thanks so much for the support. Well I went for a quick walk around the office, stopped at the drinking fountain and then stopped by the lunchroom and got the strawberries and grapes I brought to snack on.
Thanks again. I can do this!!!!

for eating your strawberries and grapes instead of the cookies. Throw them in the freezer, if it's anything like mine, they'll make their way to the back and you'll never see 'em again . Do you know anyone who is making care packages for the troops overseas? That would be a great addition to their box, it'll give them a treat, and save your waistline.

no one sells them close to me, I would LOVE some, but maybe since I am not eating 'junk' anymore, it is a good thing

I threw mine into the freezer outside. Tonight I got them out for the kids to snack and I had 2 ,mint and a nother kind. That is a trigger for me than I got into the animal crackers. I will not buy anymore cookies...... later my hubby informed me that he bought one of every kind from a neighbor. AGHHHH he does not need to watch his weight. Oh well when they arrive it is off to the deep freeze for them... Maybe if i put them deep enough I will not see them until the summer. Or I will have him stash them good and only they can eat them.. Oh my gosh the things we have to do to lose weight. Good Luck to everyone with those silly things around.

You just reminded me that I had ordered some as well. But I am visiting my brother and his family in Fargo at the end of March, so in the freezer they will go untill then. I know his kids love cookies. They will be gone before I can even think about eating one.

I ordered some too. A gal I worked with at H & R Block was selling them for her daughter. I knew I shouldn't get them but I wanted to help her daughter out. I think we should just donate the money to them wtihout having the cookies.. But they taste so good. I tried to order some with the least about of calories. Hopefully, my almost 4 year old will like what I got and she will end up eating them all. Or I just may leave them with my dad to eat. He likes them and I don't think he ordered any.

Every one loves girl scout cookies! I buy them but I can controle the cookie craze and have 1-2 with a cup of coffee in the afternoon. the thing I can't controle is corn chips! If I buy them I will eat the whole bag intill it makes me sick at my stomach So....I don't buy them! You can donate money to the girl scouts and not get cookies! I did it with the boy scouts when they were selling the popcorn (caramel and chocolate covered) this summer.

If you can't stop at just 1-2 get rid of them! There is always going to be things that tempt you and you just have to learn to say "no, thank you" I work in the hospital and we are forever getting gifts of candy, cakes, donuts....I will have a very small piece but if I know I can't stop at one I don't have any. Candy, cake, goodies will always be there. You don't have to eat them all right now1
