Question What Bread Have You Bought??

TODAY I went and bought my food. I know that it is a month or so late, but TODAY is the day!!!

While I was at the grocery store I was having trouble with the bread.
I could not find any that the ingredients started with whole grain or whole wheat. I just found everything that said whole wheat flour.

Thank you

Whole wheat is fine.. whoel or 100% whole grain is what you are looking for.

I like Alvarado breads http://www.alvaradostreetbakery.com/ Not sure if they are in your area, but they are quite good.

I don't eat much bread but what I do eat a lot of is La ATortillas Whole Wheat Tortillas. http://www.latortillafactory.com/healthy/labels.aspx I like the Low carb ones, not because they are low carb but because they are hi fiber and only 50 calories each!

Look in the freezer section for Ezekial Bread....I have tried sprouted grains and cinnamon raisin....took awhile to get used to cuz they are so dense....but I usually just toast em and that helps a lot..they are loaded with fiber and protein..otherwise I use flat out flat bread and tortillas

I love Cobblestone Mill's premium bread line. They have a 9 grain that is delicious, and they also offer a 100% whole wheat.

It can be hard to find really good whole grain bread out where I live. I did find some frozen whole wheat bread that you let rise and bake in your home oven. It's made by "Rhodes," and my hub loves it.
