Default I'm so excited because......

I just ordered the TransFIRMER system!!!! This plateau from **** is killing me so I decided I needed to step it up a notch. I've been searching the web and I have heard nothing but rave reviews about The Firm and their newest Transfirmer system. Some people are saying that it really kicks your behind...but I'm ready for it!!!! I've been doing ok on my Gazelle but wanted something else to switch it up with a little bit. I ordered it from QVC and it ended up being about 20 dollars cheaper than buying it directly from the Firm site.

I'm so excited and can't wait to get it. Boy....have I gone insane...???...actually being excited about something exercise related..lol. Anyways...the site says "guaranteed results in 10 workouts"...I was a little bit skeptical so I looked around at other message boards,etc....and it seemed to be true...the folks on there were noticing more muscle defination, weight loss, and inches off of every body part....yeehawwwww. I think I'm getting to a point now where I really need to be toning and sculpting and it seems like The Firm is great for that.

Anyways..just wanted to share. Wish me luck...LOL...I may need it
Luv,
Olivia

The Firm was one of the first videos to combine resistance training with aerobics. They were the first to do "Tall Box" exercises (basically using a stool that's shorter than a chair but taller than a regular stool, used with "hover squats" to do some amazing quad squat movements). They are one of the leaders among advanced exercisers.

I have and use their Firm Basics Fat Burning tape. Firm Basics was a series of three videos that came out a couple years ago, no longer available. One was upper body, one lower body, and one fat burning. They are the intermediate version of many of the normal Firm moves. I love the tape.

I looked at the TransFirmer. I have a tape that works iwth a step, though I've never done step aerobics, and I don't have a step. The TransFirmer system includes two step pieces that can be combined in various ways for different exercises. I was taken aback, however, when I looked at various steps, and found the weight limits were usually around 200 pounds. I'm not sure what the limit is on the TransFirmer steps, but the the basic, sturdy, "health club" style step is 200 pounds. Cheaper steps are probably less sturdy. So I'm waiting on the whole step aerobics thing until I've lost more weight.

That being said, I think you'll love the TransFirmer system. It's an intermediate/advanced program, and from what I've read, folks REALLY get results. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you as you get the program and begin working it.

Thanks everyone.....and especially to Synger....you helped me to validate that I made the right choice!!! Hmmm...about the weight limit.....some other "Firmies" were asking about that and the Firm Believers..lol...said that the step is made to hold up to 275 pounds. Now of course this is just hear-say....but I did see the 275 mentioned at a couple different forums/sites. Yep...once I get into it...I'll letcha all know how it's going. Thanks again...
Luv,
Olivia
