Default This is totally weird !!

I started back on the ww program on last wed. Since then i have been doing the walk away the pounds dvd 1mile. I read on the exercise section that most people are doing the 2 mile rather than the measely mile. So i decided today to try the 2 mile. I got thru it. Felt so good. Now here i am sitting in front of the computer with so much energy on the inside, but my body is drained. I feel good but im wore out. That is so contradicting. I dont understand it..lol

Way to go Tracey for "going that extra mile" I love those too but haven't done the 2 mile yet as I usually do it after my regular workout on the days that I want to cut the regular one short.

let me tell you, it felt great. It took the same amount of time to do as the 1 mile. but it was more intense. I feel great, im just too tired to do anything about it..lol

Funny thing is i just went to the breakroom to put my lunch in the fridge and as i was coming back there was this girl in front of me who was about my size. i was watching her walk and seeing how my strides were in comparison to hers. i was taking almost two steps to her one. lol

Congratulations on such a great accomplishment.
Winners .. or in our case... Losers ... are willing to go that extra mile.
We can also go that extra mile by drinking more water, eating more veggies, reinforcing a positive attitude, etc.
Again... congratulations !!!!

Whoo hoo.. Im pumped now. I like walking away those pounds. Im only able to do a workout for about 30 min though and i am totally exhausted. Going to do 30 min for awhile, then i will slowly start picking up 5 min here and there.

Thanks. I really enjoyed it. I think i am going to alter them though. Do the one mile one day and the two mile the next. I dont think my body is completely ready to do a 2 mile everyday.

Well done on the 2 miles Tracy!!!! What an accomplishment. I really must look for those DVDs around here. I'm sure I've seen them somewhere, just got to remember where. They may be just what I need for some days when I need some variety.

I understand totally about how great you can feel after exercising like that. As you say, mentally you are on a roll, but physically you couldn't do it again too soon. It does make you want to 'tap your feet' though, just to get in some movement. I find myself pulling my tummy in, or clenching my buttocks, just to feel as though I am doing something. I have trouble sitting still now. But I am going to work on that.

Well done also on deciding on varying the 1 and 2 miles for a while. You don't want to do what I did and get too carried away all of a sudden. I'm looking forward to being able to exercise again, but I am also quite enjoying these couple of days off so far. The jitters over not moving all the time have stopped at least.

Take care my friend,

Zelma
