New to Boards
Hey guys, my name is Brittany and I am currently a sophmore at NGCSU sudying middle school education and English Literature. Presently, I have tried almost every diet I have come across, I can honestly say that all worked, however they either made me extremely sick, cranky or after I went off of them all I had to do was look at a french fry and I gained it all back plus a couple more pounds. As of January 1, 2006 I weighed 223 pounds and since then I have been slowly trying to eat better and exercise. I have basically decided to drop all fad, weird, or completely unreasonable diets. As of last week I have basically just started following the USDA Food Guide (remember that pyramid thing, well its changed and I really like it, so far I have lost 3 pounds in one week; very similar to DASH in fact I use some of their recipes as).
Soooo...after all that...I am looking for an buddy who is about my age 19 (i'll be 20 on the 27th) who understands some of the pressures of college, and who is doing some sort of balanced weight loss program.
