Hi, ya'll!!
Hi! I've been lurking for about a month now...and decided to join! I lean more to South Beach, but don't follow it strictly every day. I've been trying to lose and keep it off for 3 years now. Everytime I have lost 30 or 40 pounds I put it back very quickly when I have gone back to 'normal' eating, so this time after the first 2 months (Nov/Dec) I decided to go back to 'normal' eating (I don't really eat too unhealthy normally) while making healthier choices and it's been almost 2 months and I haven't gained 1 pound! So I'm fairly excited that this time I can keep the weight off for good. I'm restarting the South Beach this week and going to lose the rest and keep it off! I love my elliptical! I also go out dancing (country/western and swing) one or two nights a week. I've been battling hypothyroidism and believe it's finally in a good place as far as my meds and energy level are concerned. My 'other half' dances competitively professionally. While I don't want to get into competition, I would like to find a guy to be a 'practice partner' to take lessons with and torture on the social dance floor.
