Exclamation I Desperately Need a Buddy...PCOS and IR

I have tried since the beginning of the year to stick to my low carb diet and can't seem to do it. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to be my buddy and can make me accountable and vice versa?

Default Looking for a buddy

Hi,

My name is Jane and I would love to buddy up. My email is [email protected]. I think the buddy system would definately help keep us focused, honest and get support when we need it. So here's a little about me. I'm 34, I was dx with PCOS and IR last March and I've been on Metformin since than. It took a long time for me to find an endocrinologist that would help me. I knew something was wrong with me but had to find the right doctor. I would like to lose 30 something lbs. My husband and I have been TTC and I know that losing the weight would help with that goal and it would definately make me feel better. I was so depressed before I found my doctor because I felt so bad that I had stopped eating as much and I lost 20 lbs. After my endo dx me with PCOS and IR he put me on Metformin and I got pregnant to months later (after trying for 4.5 yrs) only to miscarry two months after that. I was doing so good dieting and stopped when I got pregnant and after the miscarriage I was so depressed I ate terribly, lots and lots of bad stuff. So I'm ready to start over again and this time I'm going to start by walking 30 minutes a day and drinking lots of water and cutting out the sugar and trying to keep it natural by eating lean meats, veggies and a little fresh fruit (no processed foods). I'm just ready to do it and in the past I've been a little hard on myself and want quick results so I'm taking this one day at a time.

So email me and introduce yourself and lets help each other get to our goal.

This is only my second post so I haven't set up a ticker or anything but below is where I've been, where I'm at and where I'd like to be with my weight.

Jane

Ask your dr about adding Phentermine to your regimen. It helps cut the carb & sugar cravings and suppresses your appetite - it's awesome. It seems to help when you have a hard time sticking to a low carb plan too.
