angelshine, I feel your pain, girl. It's so hard to lose those last couple pounds!!!
Here are some ideas:
- Make mini goals (saw yours in your post...they look great and attainable!) and think of a reward for each. Make them non food related...like a massage, a new outfit, or a day trip somewhere.
- Find something that you can give yourself or do for yourself for each pound lost. I used a charm bracelet for the longest time...gave myself a charm for every 5 pounds lost. It was great! Unfortunately, it broke and I haven't had it fixed yet, but it worked very well.
- Make a list of reasons why you want to lose this weight. Make copious copies and post it everywhere!
- Put pictures of your before and after where you can see them every morning and be proud of your hard work!
- Are you craving the sugar because you are having physical cravings? If so, try P1 again. If not, try making SBD versions of the things you are craving. For instance, Pepperidge Farm now has WW mini bagels. You can have one every day (or more) in P2.
I've found a local bakery that makes whole wheat, WW onion, and WW sesame bagels. Sometimes I treat myself to one of those, toasted, with veggie cream cheese.
- Remember how you feel when you eat the processed and sugar crap. It might just be enough to make you run the other way!
- Drink lots of water...with only three pounds to go, some of that weight could be your body holding on to water!
Your plan sounds good, just don't try removing all fat from your diet, okay? It's okay to have fat on this plan...just make it mostly good fats and don't make it half of your daily calories, okay?
