I told you I did not eat as well as you! At least I've got off my typical habits of snack packs...and I'll be replacing my pudding with instone high protein pudding...just don't ask me to give up my coffee or my daily frappucino...yet...

I do feel a bit caught in the act What advice would you have for me? I'm sure it can apply to many others. And believe it or not, these calories are much healthier than the ones I was eating not so long ago...it's just a bit of a slow process for me. Anyways, I know I'm not the only one with much admiration for you, so help me! Where can I start! And don't ask me to give up caffeine

On behalf of coffee drinkers everywhere .... I love black coffee. I have several (5-6) cups a day. No calories! Diet Coke is truly a gift from God and I praise the Lord for Ultra Low Fat Miracle Whip and Kraft No fat Italian dressing!

Thanks for not blasting me. I can be a bit nervy with a keyboard sometimes. And thanks for your faith in me.

We all have processed food horror stories to tell. Once upon a time when I had three small children, I decided that we ate too much meat. So for several days in a row, I thought I was doing us a huge favour by feeding my growing darlings Lipton Sidedishes and vegetables and bread!

If you're progressing, you probably don't need much help from me. You'll figure it out as you go. The simple truth is that plain is better than having some factory mix it up for you. It's also easier to figure into fitday!

Today looks much better!

Have a look at the food lists on Body for Life. Get lots of little containers and zip lock bags. When it's time to eat, you'll have a varitable schmorgesbord (sp?)in your fridge!

What is this? I've never heard of an Ultra Low Fat version!! I take it that it tastes better than the fat free Miracle Whip? Hmmm.. I'll have to get to the "big city" of Fargo to find this. I'm lucky that the local store has the fat free stuff! How many calories and fat grams per serving?

I went out to the Kraft website and even they don't mention it.

I put a tbsp in my fitday for tomorrow. Can you look at it there?

I was living off no-fat whip cream (I can't eat the real stuff anyways) and sugar-free pudding all mixed together for the longest time, very nice...

I used to live off a 400 calorie mocha latte every day until dinner. I actually lost a few lbs on my mocha latte diet...lucky for me I changed jobs where there was no coffee shop across the street. Instead now I invest my daily $4 in packaged soups and of course, my frappucino (my daily chocolate treat, I have quite the sweet tooth). I suppose it does look pretty bad, and I'm sure packaged foods are the fast way to get stuck on a plateau. Surprisingly, my dinners with my anti-veggie fiance are much healthier!

Thanks for the BFL tip Susan, I always hear people talking about it but never really looked much into it. I'm pretty good on the meats list (live off lean meats) but veggies, I'm still learnin... And I don't know who you mean would be blasting you, not me for sure. Nice to follow in the footsteps of a fellow calorie counter that has it figured out a little better than me. I could come up with some excuses for still being in process, but I'll not bother and just say I *am* working on it. Actually, I just started buying and chopping veggies over the weekend and sealing them up in ziplocks for work so hopefully that will help a little. Thanks for the advice always Susan, it is nice to have something to aim for and reasons to better myself
