I am about to hit my first mini-goal and I am a little stumped as to how to reward myself. What do you do? Is it something to pamper yourself? New clothes? A new book/CD? I guess I am having trouble linking my reward to my weight loss and wondering what everyone else does.
My very first mini goal I got an iPod for the gym. Since then it's been cheaper and is normally new clothes or a haircut. I don't set them in advance, and it's normally something I need anyway, but I use meeting a mini-goal to justify it to myself if I feel guilty about treating myself.
I put $100 into an account. I have 12 mini goals, so that's $1200. That'll be added to other money (consignment of clothes, and then when I get to goal I'll make up the difference) and when I hit my ultimate goal I'm getting a tummy tuck.
