Question Can I make it?

Well 1st week down and 4 lbs gone!

I was just wondering ....

Is it a reasonable goal to lose 51 lbs by June 28th? I want to hit ONEderland by my vacation!

A good, healthy, steady weight loss of 2 lbs a week (averaged over time) is an awesome acheivement. Do the math for us. How does that look for you?

Well I did the math, and I leave exactly 20 weeks from today....in theory that would be 40 lbs....I am still going to strive for that extra 10. That would mean I would have to lose 2.5 lbs a week. Still doable, maybe............

You will be pleasantly surprised at the difference even the 40 lbs will make. And we'll be right here cheering you on!

Definetly doable, but don't do something that you wouldn't be able to keep up with. I've had to change my goals a lot because of wanting too much too fast. Some people can lose a lot quickly and still maintain. I hope you are one of those people and I sincerley wish you the best of luck!

P.S. My goal is 39lbs by July 1st!

Thanks for the support!
You are absolutely right, 40 lbs will be a world of difference. I would be happy with any significant change. But if I shoot for the stars I just might land on the moon!
