Default January 31st - Plan for a Perfect Day!

Good Morning .

Well, yesterday was as perfect as I was going to get. I kicked *** at the gym, (ran 2 miles on treadmill then 45 mins of circuit training w/weights) and managed to eat fairly well. Didn't eat badly but ended up with a higher calorie intake than usual. Still 1641 cals wasn't too bad and I burned off around 500 at the gym.

For today:-

Breakfast - Bowl Grape Nuts w/1% milk and raspberries, tea with milk.

Snack - cherry toms and cottage cheese

Lunch - Chicken Salad from Chik-Fil-A, pear, baby carrots

Snack - Apple w/peanut butter

Dinner - Chicken and Biscuits (home made) w/cauliflower

Water - 2 liters

Exercise - Today is rest day after last night, my little legs are sooooo sore! Tonight I will likely exercise my cringe muscles by watching the American Idol auditions whilst consuming delicious chicken and biscuits, mmmmmm!

Good luck all!

I am going to miss my goal of 80 miles for Jan by 7...oh well, vacation got in the way! if i would have put miles skiied or miles walked while on vacation I would have exceeded 80

I had a bowl of oatmeal and 1/2 banana for breakfast. Added some cinnamon and sweet and low into it...very yummy this morning!

I have been not doing so well planning for my day(s) here at work, mostly because I am bored with eating healthy!!

Today is speed work on the treadmill... 440x5 splits plus a 1/2 mile to warm up and cool down. add in 45 crunches and thats my workout.

PMS monster strikes again. I made smoothies for Jeff and me last night after dinner (not bad--bananas, frozen strrawberries, skim milk, a little vanilla, and a little Splenda), which would have been fine if I'd stopped there. But no...I then scarfed up some leftover Chinese takeout (pork lo mein). Best estimate per Fitday: 2065 calories. Actually, that's not horrible, I guess, but I was hoping for a low day.

Today will be better, but I will have to work for it! My craving for something sweet and salty grabbed me hard this morning, so I bought some yogurt-covered pretzels from the cafeteria downstairs. We're having lunch out at a restaurant today for a going-away party for a coworker whose last day is today. Here's what I'm thinking for today:
  • yogurt
  • yogurt-covered pretzels and strawberry milk
  • something as low-cal as humanly possible from Famous Dave's for lunch--I'm on my own since their website/online menu does NOT provide nutritional info
  • 2 Morningstar Farms veggie burgers on wheat buns w/spinach and honey mustard
Assuming lunch is less than 700 calories, I should be able to stay below 2000 for the day

I had a perfect food day yesterday and it's not bad going today!

Missed my run yesterday lunch but kickboxed and lifted last night.

Just kickboxing tonight, I'm getting a little bit hungry... might have to try and get some proper protein snacks in rather than just fruit.

Well, looks like my lunch can DEFINITELY be less than 700 calories now--the girl who we were all supposed to be taking out to lunch is in the hospital with a nasty virus on an IV drip to rehydrate her Her brother says she'll be okay, but what a thing to happen for your last 2 days at a job! In any case, it means I'm not oging out to Famous Dave's (bbq place) for lunch, so I can pick something more sensible from the cafeteria downstairs

I just looked at fitday... I've had 7 portions of fruit and veg today! But that's so many carbs (yes really - I never really counted the carbs in veggies very seriously!) that my fat is down to 11%

I need about 50kcals of fat! Then I'm all out on calories! I think I need to eat a pat of butter!

My goal is just to stay on plan today, nothing heroic! And to walk home from work. I've been having a hard time getting back on track so even two days in a row of doing what I'm supposed to do is an accomplishment right now!

Good luck, everybody!

Breakfast: Healthy Breakfast burrito
Lunch: Subway salad, half serv baked doritos
Dinner: Venison steak, brown rice, salad
Snack: 1 pack McMann's oatmeal with chopped nuts, extra cinnamon and eurithritol to sweeten.
WATER, WATER, WATER!
Exersize: Back/Triceps and step aerobics.

I weighed today. No budge. That gets so depressing and irritating. I know I lost eleven lbs total in one month, but now that I'm weighing regularly, NOTHING. I'll weigh tomorrow and if nothing I'm going back to weighing once a week. At this rate I'll not look that great when my mom comes in late feb.

Today is a "FAT" day, meaning I feel fat in all ways. Ugh.
