Default Starting....AGAIN!!

Well....I just jumped on the scale & the number is larger than ever (almost 200lbs, now). I feel like a cow. I am tired all the time, so I eat to stay awake (I know sounds dumb, but it works). Anyway...my moods toward my son & boyfriend have been awful. I hate the way I look & I hate the way I sound.

My biggest downfall is sodas. And, lately, everything. But consistantly the sodas, I drink sodas NONSTOP.

HELP...I need some support to help me get moticated again. I want to be happy!

By the wasy anyone from Salisbury MD area....looking for a workout buddy.

Hi jump...

I can not tell you how many times in my life I have started and stopped. ITs just I never thought I would be past 200..and then here I am now at a whopping 330! Its amazing how fast you can put on weight when you don't do something about. Of course to I did have some medical reasons but that does not justify all the junk I ate and how i hardly ever worked out! Also sodas!!! I totally understand the soda addiction. I don't even want to talk about how much soda I used to drink! A while back I cut out on soda for a week..and I lost 10 pounds! So I know I need to stop drinking so much soda! But I just wanted to say keep at it! Start out small. BTW I am just starting out as well! I am at the point where I have to do something now....because I just can't live like this anymore. So keep you chin up and you can do it! lol Have a good day!

Its all about you and how you feel about yourself. When you dont like yourself you cant treat others any better.
It not only hurts them but you in the long run.
Until you are able to see that you are a loving valuable person who desearves to be loved not only by others but yourself you will keep falling into the never ending cycles.
Yes the sodas are a evil that need to be given up. I wouldnt even consider Diet ones. The way I was able to give up the sodas was to ween myself off of them by replacing them with something else as well as drinking as much water as I could. They are like a drug. I have been soda free for probably three years now. And I will never again put one to my mouth.
The best way to stay awake and alert is to exersise. This can rev you up and get you going. After your workouts you will feel great.
Make changes and talk to yourself and remind yourself that you need to do this for you. Let your love ones know you love them with all your heart and you need to love yourself more as well. But let them know what your going thru so they understand that you are trying.
Dont try to change yourself in a day or a week it takes time and it can happen. Go for a walk and think about what changes you need to make in your life. Think about what you need to do to achieve the things you need to do to better your life. This is a very hard and trying time in your life, but its certainly one you can achieve when its something you want. No more excuses no more losing control its time to help yourself because you are the one who can make or brake you ..
I hope you can see that your worth every bit of effort it takes to make this happen. Dig deep down and grab on to that part of yourself that you let go and bring her back !!!

Default go away soda pop

I think of water being the most blessed thing to have. Every time I drink water I think how much good I am doing for my body. I am thinking every sip I take, I am flushing out toxins, it regulates my body temperature, it provides the means for nutrients to travel to all my organs, Water also transports oxygen to my cells; removes waste, and protects my joints and organs.

Water to a human is like oil to the car.

You wouldn’t want to drive your car on low or no oil so why drive you body and deprive it from water?

I love soda’s and I have drunk allot of them. With everything when I think about how much soda’s I have been drinking, which are diet soda’s and I don’t think diet soda’s are any better then just sodas. I had thought about the amount I been drinking and was I getting the same pleasure drinking one. I was drinking 6 to 8 a day all of the sudden.

WOW! And you know something else, I am leaving cans here and there with some in it, so I must not be enjoying it all that much.

BTW, I fell off the wagon really hard cause I had not been drinking soda’s that much for a long while until these last few months I notice I’m back to my bad habits.

I got my self back onto water again. I had really thought about what was my motivation to begin with about water.

Oh yea, what I just said at the top. I had to remember how great water was and it is the most blessed drink because it really does allot for you.

Once I got myself thrown back into drinking five 9fl oz bottles of water ( I need to be drinking 8) but can only get 6 down for some crazy reason, Oh yea cause I’m drinking 2 cans of sodas . I have cut back on my soda drinking.

I don’t even know where to start but water does something. It makes me feel really good , maybe cause I am drinking it and knowing it is doing this good thing for me, provide oxygen to the inside move waste, feeling refreshed, fills me up. Provides nutrients to travel, then again maybe my vitamins got me all high!!!!!

all I know is the more water I drink the lesser soda taste appeal to me.

Soda pops can be a hard thing to get off of, but you can do it. Think about what else you enjoy drinking....For me, I drink sweet tea (while it's water, tea, and sugar, I think of it as the lesser evil to soda), pure apple juice, pure white grape juice, milk, water, ect....

Ween yourself off by buying a 2 liter of soda rather than a 12 pack or 24 pack. And keep drinking other kinds of drinks...That's how I was able to cure my addiction to them.

Don't drink the soda. Simple, plain and uncomplicated advice. Just stop. They are pure poison. I do believe diet is better. My husband lost 60 lbs drinking diet. He only has one or two a day at most. I drink the occasional diet soda, but I love diet tonic water myself, with a little lime. It's good and has quinine which is a natural muscle relaxant. Two at night has me feeling very laid back in a good way. There's not enough quinine to do anything bad to you. I researched. But you must increase your water intake and stop drinking pop. It's purely junk you are pumping into your body. It will kill you. There--hows that for motivation. Keep drinking it and overeating and you'll probably die younger.

I never thought I'd be over 200 lbs again and here I am. But I won't stay here and you shouldn't either. We're here to help. NO MORE SODA!

Triple Moo!!! I stepped on the scale this morning...the number is actually 210 :-| !!!! On the bright side...my boyfried's pants are now getting tight too (I know that should not be the bright side!!). He just stopped smoking & took up eating everything in sight....now he has gained some weight too. So...now he wants to exercise with me. I bought one of those Urban Rebounders...What a work out!!! I did the beginners portion last night & could not get all the way through. Thought I would faint!! FLET GREAT, though. Tonight we are going to go buy a bike for me. It is pretty warm here for January...figured Saturday would be a great day to go biking at the ocean. Also, bought an Ipod for myself...figured it would be nice to have at the gym. Trying to add a little movement in everyday.
