Default No Appetite

You ever go through periods where you just don't feel like eating?

It might be because I had a tooth pulled on Monday. For 24 hours I lived off of cup-a-soups and Slimfast. Didn't want to eat any solid foods yet. But ever since then, food just isn't appealing to me like it usually does. Including Monday, I'm taking in less than 1000 calories a day. Monday it was only about 700, but that's understandable since I couldn't eat anyway. But then last night for dinner I made myself a big beautiful salad with lettuce and baby spinach, tomatoes, fat-free feta cheese, grilled chicken strips, all that yummy stuff. The salad is still sitting in the fridge, I never touched it.

Now, what's funny is I was up a pound on the scale this morning, lol. I expected to maybe see 139 or 140, but noooooooo... 142.

It's taking forever to get these last few pounds off (don't worry, I fully expect it to) so I've vowed not to weigh myself for another month. Normally I weigh once a week, but I'm going to weigh once (or maybe twice) a month now.

Anyone else going through a period of the food blahs?

It's the season for stomach flu, a bug, or something like that......

I've been slightly nauseated off and on too....several people I work with are the same.

hope you feel better soon, stay hydrated.

Yeah, maybe you're right. Because I haven't really felt all that great the last few days. Having a tooth pulled, taking pain meds, things like that. I just haven't felt like eating a whole lot.

Also, percocet or darvocet can make you queasy....(and constipated). They dehydrate you a LOT.

I was on them for an extended period (fractured shoulder and nose) after surgery.....the LAST thing I wanted was food.
