Default Need some advice bad!!

OK, here is the deal. My husband is also trying to lose wight, but he is not as diligent as I. He still eats late, snacks, and enjoys alcoholic beverages. I on the other hand, watch every calorie I eat, work out, no alcohol, and I have pretty much stayed the same for like two weeks. He loses weight so fast and I am PISSED! I want to be happy for him, but I can't. What is wrong with me?? He is very supportive of me, why am I only supportive of him as long as he is not losing rapidly. Help me get a grip!!!!

My hubby is totally the same way. I swear that he can skip breakfast and lose 5 pounds. Men in general just have faster metabolisms, lucky dogs.
It makes me feel good to look at him when he has lost some "belly" weight and he looks as good as the day we met and know that he's my man.

Just be supportive, even if it kills you! Men lose quicker. It's just the way it is. My husband lost 60 lbs while I lost 30. I worked just as hard as he did. Sometimes it was frustrating, but he's my biggest ally to keep losing. Think of all the women who have husbands who hate them losing weight, and won't eat the food they have to cook!!! And now that my husband lost weight he's not going to drop dead from a heart attack and for that I'm grateful. And look at it this way, if you're husband was diligent, like mine is, he'd lose even faster! YIKES!

Not that i am saying u may not be doing this but try adding some muscle building or at least muscle strengthening exercises to ur workouts. REcall muscle burns fat all around, I should say burns calories and keeps ur metabolism up all day. This will not make the scale seem good but it will if u are using clippers to check ur body fat. U don't need to build much and if u are terrified of this then at least strenthen as it too will make ur metabolism go up and will help u workout harder when u do ur aerobics due to being stronger. Abs and back are usually the weakest so don't overwork or forget them. Just some advice.

grr i feel your pain. i lost with my bf and he lost like 50 lbs in the time it took me to lose 15. and he still ate french fries and stuff!!! of course we were on WW so he worked it into his points...but STILL. i was all veggies. lol. its annoying. and there is nothing we can do about it. my theories however are 1. men have better metabolisms than women. dont need to keep as many "reserves" as they do not bear kids. this is not verified by any facts. lol. 2. in our case he had more to lose and i think once you are closer to your bods natural weight its harder to lose. again i made that up but still.

you are doing great and i'm sure in the long run you and your hubbie will appeciate eachothers energy and good health.

just tell him to stuff it if he brags though ;-)

My advice, and I've only just got this into my head, is to realise that its not a race. Who cares who gets there first as long as you both get there?
