Default Superbowl & Sonoma

Any ideas for menus / recipes / ideas for Superbowl on this diet? We go to an annual party and I have no problem taking whatever I need, so any help would be appreciated.

Take lots of your Tier one veggies, with dip for those who want it.

The flank steak wraps in the book would be good also, if you will be eating an actual meal there.

I love the Mini Pitas ( whole wheat.. about 2 1/2 inches wide each) with anti-pasta and parmesean cheese on top. Great snack, appitizer food. Also could do Feta or goat cheese with slice tomato, salt and pepper.

My husband would like to host a superbowl party for his friends and he and I are just starting wave 2. I have planned on making veggie platters with dip(yogurt based), hummous with pita chips, and grilled chicken and flank steak, and salads.Fruit platters for dessert. Let me know if there are any other suggeastions.

Default Can I jump in here?

If you are having a party, don't forget any vegetarians who might be on the guest list. I find it so frustrating to go to a party and there is nothing that I can eat. I've begun bringing food along. The biggest problem with this is that now I am getting phone calls saying, "Can you bring your wonderful veggie lasagne?" I find myself providing the lone entree for someone else's party time and time again.

I just use a recipe from an old, old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, circa early 1970s, and adapt it by using no meat, mixing a box of drained, defrosted chopped spinach in with the ricotta mixture, using fat-free cheeses, and using low fat prepared sauce instead of cooking my own. It could be made even lighter by using Egg Beaters instead of the eggs, but I haven't gone that far yet!
