Default New here today

Hi everyone, my name is Kenna. I found this site today looking for some help on losing weight. Right now i am at 245 which is the most i have ever weighed. I gained alot of my weight during the last 2 pregnancies and just cant get it to go away. I eat when i am bored and since i have stopped working to move with my husband to UK for the AF its just getting worse. RIght now he is gone to Iraq and wont be back for several months. and i would like to surprise him with a new me when he gets home. He is so supportive and has never complained about my weight even though i was 100 lbs lighter when he met me. I have started a balanced diet with 1200 calories a day and exercise each day, i have an eliptical although i have found its gonna take a few weeks to really do a good work out cuz after 5 minutes i feel like i am dying!!!! BUt i am doing sweating to the oldies for aerobics each day for atleast 15 to 30 minutes. I still feel like i might be taking in too many carbs, right now i have been doing that special K 2 week thing to jump start the diet, a bowl of special k for 2 meals then a balanced 3rd meal. ANY suggestions or help would be GREAT. Thanks

Well Kenna! Welcome!
You'll probably fit into several threads just quite nicely. Here's a few I thought of off the top of my head .... anything under Calorie Counters, Exercise Accountabilty, there's daily challenges .....

Read lots, post lots and make yourself at home.

Hi Kenna! Welcome!! I'm new here too! It sounds to me like you are getting off to a great start! Dont be afraid of carbs! Carbs= energy! Just make sure you eat the healthy carbs is all. Cut out the white stuff and get lots of green! LOL! I hope you keep on posting here! I cant wait to hear many successes from you! good luck to you!! We can do this!
