Default Prevention videos

Has anyone tried the Prevention videos? They have a few different ones out. I am thinking about getting the dance one or I think there'e a 3-2-1 circuit type one that looks interesting...the amazon ratings for it seem to be pretty positive...

I have both the dance and the circuit workouts. Both of them seem suitable to exercisers of an intermediate fitness level -- not for beginners, and not for the super-advanced. The dance one seems to me to be the best one, although it may take a time or two to get the steps down. The instructor is the same one who did the Crunch Fat-Burning Dance Party, which is a very popular and fun video (one I always enjoy doing). This one includes a 10-minute ballet segment which is basically lower body toning. The workout goes by quickly and is fun.

The circuit one is also good; it can't quite make up its mind whether it's a toning or cardio workout. You don't get enough cardio at any particular time (only 3 minutes) to really get into the zone, but you do get the heartrate up, so that's good. Again, this workout goes by very quickly.

Both are enjoyable workouts, so I would say they are worth your checking them out.

Thanks for your reply,Dancing angel! I went ahead and ordered the 3-2-1, so I'll let you know how it is in a few days!
I've never cared for any of the Crunch videos myself...

Hi all-I tried the 321 video and found it too easy for the most part, even though I consider myself intermediate at best! I agree with the above post that you don't really feel like you get a cardio workout, or a toning workout. I was frustrated at the pace. I have the Crunch video Cardio Dance Blast-it's okay: fun, but not too hard a cardio workout. I use it when I'm feeling like a lighter workout. Hope you enjoy 321 more than me Apple Blossom!

I just got the Fat To Firm 3-2-1 and the Express Workout: Belly, Butt and Thighs. I have to agree that the 3-2-1 doesn't count as "cardio" - your heart rate will get up there, and you will burn fat - but I use it as a "supplement" to my regular cardio. I really enjoy the Belly, Butt and Thighs dvd. I do the abs everyday and sometimes do all 3.

There's lots of threads about Turbo Jam. I haven't tried it though. Have you used it now? Like it?
