Smile Help weight affecting MARRIAGE

Hi, My name is Danielle and I am new I started dieting for myself and my husband. I am 25 with 4 young children all in 5 yrs. My husband says he loves me but he looks at me differant and is just not sexually aroused by me, he didn't say this but I know its the way he feels we are intimate maybe 8 times a year. It hurts. I was 120-125 when we met. I lost it after the 1st and 2nd child but now its hard to find time. My husband works midnights and sleeps all day. Any suggestions to help hubby take more interest and workout tips with kids would be helpful. I am now 173 lbs too heavy for being 5'2". Also help on setting up that scale thing with weight goals would be appreciated. :

Hi Danielle, I know how tough it must be with your hubby working nights. My husband worked nights on and off for about 3 years and it was tough enough without any children. I think someone mentioned something about working out to an Elmo video with their children in one of the threads. I don't know how feasible that is for you with 4 young children. I think that taking just 15-30 minutes a day to exercise would definately give you some results. Leslie Sansone has some great workout videos that are easy to follow along and fun to do. Her videos are called "walk away the pounds" and you can do things at your own pace without worrying about the moves being to dance-y. Hope things work out for you. Take care .

Hi Danielle I'm sorry you are going through so much right now. To answer your question about the weight goal thing, you go to User CP and signature and it tells you how on there. I know its hard to be intimate with me having only 2 kids so maybe its not the way you look, maybe its the stress and his working schedule? I hope everything works out well. I'll pm you more on this later.

Thumbs up Hello, I also have 4 kids...

The last 3 were in less than 3 years, so I know how ya feel! Everytime I do any abs my kids try to jump on me. I tell them no, to lay next to me and do their own abs!

If you can afford it, join a gym with a daycare. 3 of mine are in elementary school now but the 4th goes to the daycare at the gym. He doesnt know any different, its just our routine. Plus, its a break from the kids, which Im sure you need.

Good Luck, just tell yourself how great you will look this summer at the pool or beach!

Hello .....
every little bit helps!!
ideas of getting ure little ones involved....for me its dancing.
When they were little I startet to dance. Any kind of fast dancing involving hands arms, legs, will burn calories. They also have some nice videos/dvd's out now. Matter of fact I just got dancing to the 70-80's . KIDS LOVE to dance. Not sure about youres but mine just loved bouncing arround dancing.
Matter of fact my little one (she is 9 now) She still does it. We do a lot of dancing together.

Also look like were the same hight and about the same weight. If ya want buddy up , and we can help eachother.
I do Curves now, and dance, taebo, and yoga (just startet that).
Iam a "little" older 34 but still young at heart

You said ....he didn't say this but I know .... be vewy vewy careful thinking you can smell what your husband is thinking. I've been married for 26 years to a strong and silent type. It took me a long time to figure out that if I want to know what he's thinking, I have to ask. he'll take his time, think and mull it over and eventually give me a diplomatic answer that I have to help him explain. We manage.

My other thought is that marriages go through lots of ups and downs, curves ... that's why we're in it for the long haul. The good times far outweigh the difficult ones.

And if he is effected by your weight (and men can be, poor simple creatures) he will be your best supporter as you slim down and become more confident of your sexier, trimmer new body.
