Anybody out there just hate to cook so they grab what is easiest. Seriously, I only have a kitchen because it came with the house. My husband cooks supper usually. He has to if he wants good tasting food. Its hard to work, come home and get food on the table quickly. I'm really at a loss as to where to start cooking low carb low fat foods, quickly, and the family will like it. I have over 100+ to lose. Its time to start to learn to cook healthy. Anyone have any suggestions?
I know what you mean, I come from a really big family and I never really had to learn to cook. My older sisters took care of stuffing the rest of us. I just started Weight Watchers and there are some really great meal plans in the WW mag. But be for warned, this eating healthy stuff takes a lot more work than grab-and-go!!But It really is worth it. I've been suger free for 5 days and am so glad to be out of the "food fog" at least for today
There are a few things that are grab and go that will work for you. fat free cottage cheese, apples, oranges, low fat cheese, tuna, carrots, celery, shakes, protein bars ....
But lean simple real food is not hard to cook. Most meats simply need to be shoved in the oven until they are cooked through and nothing much is easier than bagged salad.
