Default Quick Fix

Has anyone done these work outs? I just ordered the Hip Hop one from Amazon, it was only 5.99... If so, what did you think?

I love the Quick Fix Stability ball, Pilates, and Cardio Kick and total body toning workouts. I have not tried the yoga ,hip hop one b/c they just have no appeal to me (picky about yoga and not a dance workout girl unless it is belly or ballroom dancing in s dance studio )
I LOVE the stability ball and pilates workouts I have & these are great when running short on time.
Cardio Kicks is ok, I like the instructor, I just am not really into kickboxing and right now find it sorta difficult. I HATE total body toning and will be placing it on ebay or other swap site soon. This last one had 3 instructors, 1 which was ok, the other 2 drove me crazy and the moves were bland and did not make me want to stay there for 10 minutes, let alone for 3 10 minute segments. Since at least one of the instructors is on the QF Total Mix, I have not picked it up yet, so I can't give a review of that one.
I purchased a magazine over the summer and it had a sample workout dvd that has a 10 minute segment from Quick Fix Abs that looked pretty dedcent, I haven't done that one though and I think it has been discontinued. I went to their website and they have several titles I have not seen before (pre/postnatla, core training, arms, etc..)

Oh, thanks! I'm excited for it. I was thinking about getting Cardio Kick, but I just got the other one instead because of pricing and I was unsure because I hadn't heard anything. I'll tell you how it is... I was looking for something dance, type, thats also high impact!

I forgot to add, they show beginner, intermesiate and advanced moves for the whole workout so you can grow with it or modify when needed.

Thumbs up Quick Fix Total Mix

I LOVE the quick fix total mix. That is how I lost 35 pounds before my wedding three years ago (unfortunately this year I found those 35 pounds plus some!) Minna Lessig, Nancy Popp and Julie Upton are all incredible instructors. They aren't too cloyingly sweet and annoying enthusiastic. Minna Lessig has a lot of other excellent tapes as well.

I am using her emergency workout tape right now! I like the Quick Fix Total Mix DVD because you can customize your workout to match what you feel like doing that day. Basically the tape has three ten-minute ab workouts, three buns workouts (J-Lo watch out!) An upper body weighted workout, a lower body workout (intensity in ten cities) and one that combines the two and will get your heart rate up stat!

I faithfully used the tape every single morning- typically doing three, ten minute workouts and within 2 weeks I had dropped a size and looked much more toned. From October to June of 2000/2001, I went from 170 pounds to 145 and at 5'7 that looked MUCH better.

Aimin4thin, I have and enjoy this as well. I love it and the other QuickFix workouts for add-ons on days when my "main" workout is not quite long enough.

I actually bought this one because it features Minna. You mentioned the emergency workout. It is one of my favorites; I have been doing it for a few years now, and I never get tired of it. That hour always flies by! I like her backup exercisers as well.

I had to chime in when I saw the mention of one of my all-time favorites!

Actually-I found out I was pregnant over the holidays, and I have been ordering and trying out different prenatal workouts-and the QuickFix one is by FAR my favorite! Most pregnancy workouts are light aerobics, or yoga, and now and then a Pilates...but I dance and walk on the treadmill for my cardio, and I have a prenatal yoga dvd that I enjoy-I wanted toning/strength training-and the Quick Fix dvd is GREAT.
