Default My problem on lossing weight-

For me it is cooking dinner for everyone and still trying to keep it healthy.

My kids and DH are so darn picky especially my youngest who just turned 7. She has reflux and everything [she clains] bothers her stomach except for pasta and fish LOL.

I told them last evening at dinner that for 14 yrs I have been making dinners that they like and this year I am not doing it anymore.

We will be eating better and they will be eating their veggies even my DH [he doesn't eat them at all]
You don't eat them [at least try them and nothing gross]
I don't cook the next night.

SO I need you all to give me some pointers on preparing dinners and side dishes.

Hi Anita! I think you have the right attitude, if they don't like it, they starve! You need to think of your own health, and you kids are certainly old enough that they can eat healthy meals...I mean as opposed to just the stuff they like...you're beyond chicken fingers and mac & cheese!

There are plenty of yummy foods out there that they need to try! Maybe get creative with the veggies? Make a turkey meatloaf with pureed veggies in it? Chili with veggies in it? Casseroles made with FF cream soups...that makes veggies taste good!
