Didn't really know 'where' to post this because I am new. Sooooo..."hello" everyone; just found this website and I'm 'tickled' I did. Just got the Magic Bullet for Christmas and looking for SLIMMING recipes; anyone have any ideas? I'm overweight and DETERMINED to lose it. I'm 44 so it's going to be harder than I was when I was younger...s'ok though...I don't feel good anymore; my back hurts, feet hurt, I just feel like a BALLOON; and I don't like it..so any help will be greatly appreciated with Magic Bullet recipes. Oh and also is there a way to FLUSH your system? I did the Atkins for 5 months and lost 40lbs...gained it all back plus though. Hope to hear from lots of you. Happy Holidays by the way.
Hi! I'm not sure what the magic bullet is, I've never heard of it, is it exercise equipment??? As far as flushing, the atkins diet felt like a flush to me, and I think the beach is similar also....gotta do what you'll be able to live your whole life...so once you figure that out, go from there seeing what the safe way is to 'flush' your body out Nice to meet ya, this is an awesome place!!
Oh lord, I’ve had our 4/5months and it was very disappointing
not quite the gizmo it showed to be on television, using most of the recommended recipes is a waste of time as it sticks to the bottom.
But t is a xmas present? So I don’t want to be mean, so Ill focus on the positive I found just a month ago it IS however perfect for grinding small amounts of coffee beans(I don’t drink it, my mum does)
But more importantly it was perfect for my 'healthy' spaghetti sauces! esp. as u can keep them on the tubs, and one remember before blending any veggie, micro for a min to soften to prolong life of said blender..
I put in chopped up cooked carrots, plum tomatoes, herbs, onions and garlic then whiz, reduce and simmer on stove..
It was nice, I like lumps so added chopped celery

We have been making smoothies, and I chopped walnuts so far. My mom bought this for my sister and I and she has made ham salad and salsa. Yum.
I think it will be great to have, I have not had a food processor in a while, so I was happy to receive. I will let you know if any other recipes work well.
I've had TWO sets for about a year and a half and I love, love, love the Magic Bullet! I've made soups, salads, smoothies, almond butter, everything. It works "just like TV" ... it's one product that actually lives up to my expectations and is always out on the counter. A favorite recipe that I haven't done in awhile is chicken salad ... in the days when I ate corn (don't anymore) ... leftover chicken, diet mayo, corn and/or spinach, curry powder in the short cup ... makes one or two servings, perfect for a fresh, fast lunch.
Frozen blueberries and a little water produce "ice cream" or "sherbert" or "sorbet" depending on what you want to call it ... soymilk makes it more "ice creamy."
Freeze unsweetened chocolate soymilk (Westsoy) to just slushiness and make chocolate "ice cream" ... use Splenda if you need sweetener.
Egg salad with diet mayo, fresh spinach, two hardboiled eggs, powdered mustard.
Cheese spread, with anything.
Instant soup ... usually with brocolli ... follow directions in book or make it backwards by first whirring up frozen broc and whatever else you want in there and THEN microwaving.
Soymilk and ice and coffee and any flavors you like ... frappucino ...
Mashed cauliflower (fake mashed potatoes) ... cook frozen cauliflower in short or tall cup with a little water, pepper, chives, whir with cheese (can use cheddar and a little cream cheese ... fat free if you like), milk if you like ... DON'T overblend as it just takes a sec and you want some texture left.
Mushroom pate to spread on toast or whole wheat crackers ... just mushrooms, can add cheese or spices ...
