Default Christmas/Hanukkah Weekend Chat

Here we are! Let's just sit down for a minute with a coffee and relax before we tackle the next two days.

Naturally I have tons of stuff to get done before 7:30 Church. I just didn't feel like doing much when I got back from Ottawa yesterday. Silly me! I did make a comprehensive list but am sure I've forgotten stuff.

May we all have a bit of peace this holiday weekend!

Merry Christmas Eve! We spent just over 2 hours at the hospital with MIL last night. I've never seen a woman take so many pain pills and have no result. They finally injected her with something that took the edge off and made her a little loopy. I'm hoping she finally got to sleep, since she hadn't slept in about 3 nights. We just called up to her room and there's no answer. Terry says maybe they just took her for a test, but it makes me nervous. (When am I not nervous?)

I'd better get ready so we can run up to the hospital and see her. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Hi Ladies! I was here for a while last year, then flaked out...but I am revisiting the Beach again on Monday. Only this time I'm staying!!! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Schatzi -- please share what a traditional Polish feast is! My grandmother used to cook us polish food growing up..and I just LOVE it. We have a "Pierogie Bash" every Christmas eve.... can't get enough of those. She would also make a mean cabbage roll. She called them by their polish name which I can't pronounce.

Be safe everyone!!

Off to open the restaurant until 3:00 then home to cook Eve dinner for my oldest son and his family, will be taking dinner to their house, then open a few presents, talk about the true meaning of Christmas, then watch Polar Express together along with a Tom & Jerry.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!

This morning, went to grocery and it was so nice, no one was there!!!!
So, I'm in for the day and my niece and I are making Santa's cookies today to leave she wanted sugar & choc chip for Santa (one of each) and oatmeal for the reigndeer. It is kind of nice having a little one back in the house again. Then we are having MIL & FIL for turkey dinner tonight and an evening of hot cocoa and movies.

Hope you all have a peaceful and enjoyable holiday. God Bless and take care.

Happy Christmas Eve!

I'm at my parents' house, and when hubby gets off of work and comes over, we're going to eat dinner and exchange gifts. Then hubby and I are off to midnight mass later on. I can't wait!

Have a wonderful weekend, all of you!
