Last month many of us set exercise goals for December -- and guess what? It's here!!!
In this forum, we're setting the number of MINUTES we want to exercise for the month -- whether it's walking or swimming or housework! Remember December is really 4.5 weeks long, but full of holidays, so plan accordingly!!
We're also tracking how many minutes we have exercised as a group!
As of now: 300+ exer-total = 4713 minutes (that's almost 80 hours, people!!)
Please add your minutes (for yourself and the group and get some support!
If you want to join us during the month -- GREAT! Just let us know how many minutes you want to exercise in what's left of the month!
Yay! Another exerciser! I am just going to assume that everyone else is exercising, but not posting yet cuase of the holidays! Right? Hope so. Everyone have a great weekend.
Wow the holidays were crazy. Hope that everyone had a great Christmas.
I am adding some time to my total. Yay! I got in 15 mins on the 22nd. None on the 23rd, I was bad that day . I did 15 mins on the 24th, 30 mins on the 25th and so far 15 mins today. In all that is 75 mins that I am adding!
My trainer is on vacation, so I had to push myself on the weights. I did 50 minutes of weights and then 50 minutes of elliptical, for a total of 100 minutes.
Manda, Wyllenn & Elmay - You are SO Good! I've been good about getting to my Curves workouts, but haven't made any more progress on my walking goal. Bad, sad Val! I have almost 200 minutes of those other workouts plus stretching, but my 400 minutes was supposed to be just walking & treading. I'll do better next month if we can try this again - I swear it on... on my wide, white wagon! Whuddya think? Are we going to do this again in January?? Pweeze?
Yes yes! Lets do it again in January! It definitely helped me stay more on track ... I have 90 minutes to go to reach my goal, and I intend to do that in the next couple of days at the pool, unless something goes wrong!
I want to do it again next month too! If we do it next month then I am adding my Yourself!Fitness workouts to it!
Btw, this morning was the first MORNING that I have gotten up and exercised first thing. I usually wait until the evening to do it. I am not a morning person at all. But, I feel great right now. Of course it was only 15 mins but I feel awake and full of energy now. I can't wait until I can work out for longer periods of time consistantly.
Hi all! I was out of town and really didn't have internet access. I also didn't exercise a lot, but took a nice, brisk 23 minute walk yesterday. I still have almost 90 minutes to get to my goal and I am going to get there!
As for next month, you BET we're on! I think my goal is already in my sig! (I'm including weight/strength trainging too). What about everyone else?
300+ exer-total = 5158 + 23 = 5175 minutes!
