Default Wacky Weds chat!

Good morning everyone!!
I've been so off plan!! Ugh. I'm back up to 215!!
I've also had terrible leg pains in my right leg. It just shoots up my leg & I'm limping by the end of my shift! I think my knees have noticed the weight gain & they're not happy!
I'm drinking some coffee & getting ready for work - what's going on with you today?

What's going on? Well, Shcatzi must have been in my Girls' brains because they sniffed out a box of cherry chocolates last night! Luckily I was here to stop them from eating any but......let's just say there is only one layer missing and I did give them each one. My DD knows I adore Cherry Chockies and I should have known there would be a box there when I put her gifts under the tree. The rest are in the garbage which I must lug out to the road very shortly! I just can't have them around!

Candace come to clean this "morning" - she thinks morning is any time before noon! I am going to have to straighten her out if she continues to clean for me. I am going to have her dust and vacuum downstairs and help me complete the downstairs decorating. I go to the eye doctor at 1:30 and will pick up a couple of things when in town. I have three Long Horn Gift certificates being printed right now which takes care of three presents. Next year will be better because I will not have a sore knee and mouth! I even have some presents for 2006 - the 2005 ones that I finally found too late to mail! Duh!

Soon, I hope your knees feel better today. Do you have any chance to sit down with your feet up during lunch or breaks. Everyone is struggling with their weight this time of year. Just holding steady is going to be good enough for me.

Have to throw on some duds and schlepp that trash out. Catch you later.

Hi, Soon! I just got back from my workout, and have a little time before I have to leave for work. Just yesterday I was saying I had mornings off this week, when she calls and says she needs me early today! That's the way it goes, though. I don't have anything planned for today, since I'll just have Audrey this morn, maybe I'll let her get busy with glue, glitter and scissors and let her have a ball making more decorations for her tree in the playroom. We can't do that when Maggie is around! I may take the girls to the library after we pick up Maggie, I want to get them familiar with how a library works, and let them each get their own card. It should be a short day for me, as there are swim lessons this evening, and Mommy's been taking them and making it a special "date night" with them.

Good morning, Chicks~~

I'm sitting here eating Malt-O-Meal. Probably not the most on program food I could eat, but it's frassing (to borrow a Ruthieism) COLD outside and I need something to warm my innards. (I'd have eaten oatmeal but moths got into it...isn't that special?)

Soon-- I'd bet most of that 5 pounds is water. Push the veggies and water for a few days and I'm betting it'll melt off.

Speaking of veggies...I need to come up with a Christmas menu. We're keeping it very low key around here on Christmas Day b/c dd(the younger) and sil aren't getting here til the 28th. Which means Christmas will be observed the 29th. But dd (the Elder) wants to have a "real Christmas" on the 25th. What to do??? Maybe I should let HER plan and execute the dinner....

Okay, I'm outta here.

You all have a great day on the Beach! Stay warm!

Morning, Ruth! Those cherry chocolates have been wreaking a lot of havoc this year! I hope the Girls don't get sick! I've been having trouble staying out of the Lindor Truffles, they are sooooo good! It is a real struggle to keep from gaining this time of year, and I know I'll have to go back to Phase 1 as soon as the holidays are over. Glad you finally found those long lost presents from last year! Better late than never, as the saying goes.

Good morning everyone. My weakness yesterday was the only candy we had in the house. Little mini candy canes and I probably ate 30 of them throughout the day. Now you know why I don't have the chocolate cherries here. I am still holding steady with 2 pounds lost as of this morning so I guess I can't complain. Oh yea, I also had Starbucks last night. That makes 2 this week. I get a grande Skinny SF Caramel Machiato so it isn't all that bad right??!! Anyway in just a little while I have to run and get a few things for ds's school party and then go to the school and help out with that. As far as I know all they are having is sugar cookies and juice. Not a temptation on my part cause I will have my water and well I don't like sugar cookies. Tonight is our candlelight service at Church and hopefully I will get some presents wrapped afterwards. Well better run and get busy. Have a great day everyone

Morning everyone! Whew, I haven't been caught by the chocolate covered cherries yet, but there are still five days until Christmas! Oh wait, only four, you say? When did that happen??? Time sure does fly...

Yesterday, instead of eating chocolate cherries, I got cornered by evil bowling alley food, namely cheese sticks and hot soft pretzels. My MEAN husband persuaded me to have a bite of pretzel, but (good for me) I stopped after one yummy, squishy bite . The other good news is that I bowled consistently in the triple-digits, which is quite a feat for an untalented bowler like me! I am feeling a lot better after my day of feeling cruddy, and all ready for the weekend!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Mornin' Ya'll

Things are going ok here, its stress city though!! With Christmas this week, and I always feel as if I have to make everybody happy all the time, make sure they have everything they need, want, etc. etc....Since my brother moved in with us I have been so stressed out. I know it's my own doing but I can't help myself. He has no money, hence he's living with us, and his daughter (7) comes for his visits every weekend. I love her dearly but I'm not used to little ones around anymore, mine will soon be 19!!! Anyway, I just find out that her mother does not want her for Christmas weekend and she will be waking up Christmas morning expecting Santa to have come!!! So, I feel I have to make her Christmas good as well. So we are going shopping tonight for Santa. This Christmas is wearing me out!!! I feel the Chrismtas spirit is draining from me and I hate that. And I am never like this, I love christmas, I look forward to it every year. Everybody just seems to be better people around the holidays. I just want it to be over. So anyway, we had out office party yesterday and I ate so much food, but I did stay away from the sweets, crackers, and bread!!! I didn't even want any of that which is a plus for me...yeah! But everything else man, there was so much food and I tasted it all. I gained a pound from it, oooooh. So I've decided not to stress about it w/ Christmas this weekend and New year's next, I'm gonna try and stay pretty good til new year's and go back to phase 1 along with a lot of other chickies.

Sorry about the rant, but like I said I don't know which way is up right now, but I know I can always count on you all to listen

Ya'll have a great day

Good Morning Chicks

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Hanukkah season. I'm heading down to N.Y. to be with my family and relatives, and won't be back until next week sometime.

Hope we'll all be ready to start the New Year ,back on Phase 1 if we have to,and make this year the year of reaching goal.

Soon-Sorry about your leg,and knee.Yikes alot of people on this thread and folk I know are getting joint problems. My hip goes out of the socket once in a while.,and the PAIN is really unbelieveable.Take care, resting is the best.

Ruth-You had it bad this year with your knee & gums,You poor thing. Hope 2006 will be a healthier year for you. Those fur babies are keeping you going thats for sure. Try to take it easy and relax.

Cottage-Mamacita-Vking=We'll all get back into shape after the holidays. They say between Thankgiving and New Years thats when most people put on weight, over indulaging or not not getting enough of the the right foods[goodcarbs & goodfats] like the SB teachs us. Just hang in there we have one week left. Hope that helps

Hugs BB

Thanks Schatzi, I do keep telling myself that all will be well on Christmas morning. We have no idea what has gotten into her mother? She's out running around, every weekend my niece is at the house, so the mother doesn't seem to care whether she's there or not? I thought for sure that Christmas weekend we would just pick her up on our way to family's get together around 10 am, but DB told me last night, that the mother said he could have her all weekend? We are just clueless? I feel the same way, how can any mother not want your child on Christmas morning?

Talk to you later
