Our Xmas party at work was today, and we ordered from Panera Bread.
I made a good choice on a soup/sandwich combo and only ate 1/2 of the peanut butter brownies going around and a small nibble of the lemon meringue. Woohoo!
We went out to a seafood restaurant at work and I flung myself off the wagon and got the fried calamari platter with strawberry shortcake for dessert. I have been doubling up on my curves workouts to make up for it. Cest la vie!
We had our Holiday dinner today on campus.
I was so tempted to have a desert but I resisted. I did however have 2 cups of apple cider.. I had no idea it had so many calories! Oh well you live you learn.
You should be very proud of yourself for making a healthy decision! It takes strength and dedication but every time you make a smart choice it gets easier and easier! I have my office party at Boca Di Beppo tomorrow evening and we as a team have already made our selections on what we want. I made sure we got the Chicken and Vegi dish. I will need all my wits about me so I don't start piling on the Lasagna and garlic bread! Wish me luck!!!!
