Default Rookie

Hi All,
This is the first diet forum I have ever joined in my whole life -but after reading this, it seems to be the best thing to do!
I started with the LAWL program on Monday - made it through LA Express (1lb down!) and am trying to work my way through the purple plan!
Ever since I was little I have wanted to an average weight - and yet I was always a little bit more than average! In the last year of university I put on over 20 lbs and that is just not good (considering I wasnt light before!)

My hope is that LAWL works for me. I've tried all the self-diets you can try - I've tried pills, juices, and just plain starving! But I lose faith easily and therefore lose track of the plan. My final target date is July (which is really close) but I'm worried that the plan won't work for me.

I think the real reason I am on this page is for support. I have been reading through some posts, and I think this is a great place to get the support I need. I really learned a lot about counsellors, the bars (which i can't stand! So I hope someone can confirm that they can lose without the bars!) And finally I need a lot of advice - especially for those late night chocolate cake fixes?!? And how do you eat all that food (today was my first day on the purple plan and I feel like I haven't stopped eating - the two guys I'm working with must think I'm a pig!)

So thanks for creating such a welcoming arena for struggling weight losers and I hope to interact with you all more in the future.

Oh yeah, can you tell me how this forum work? What are all the mass threads (I.e. Mth Friends and Losers etc)
I've tried to figure it out - but I'm getting a little confuzed?!

you will find that the chicks here are the best. they have kept me going and i have never kept to a diet this long either. but the good thing is that eventually it won't even be a diet to you, just a new way of eating that will become second hand.

Karen, who has reached her goal did the program with out the lites and she has been maintaingin and keeping the rest of us in line, so she is proof you can loose without them. But since you do like you sweets (chocolatecake ) you might want to see if you like the lunas or ask for more samples because you really don't get many other sweets on this program but the bars.

to get to your signature and put int he weight tracker you can click on the little private messges thing under your name int he right corner and it will take you to your options. On the left side it will have a link for signature.

the majority of us hang out on the monthly thread so come over there and meet the rest of the chicks, but feel free to post on any thread and create threads as you see fit. The easiest way for me to get to all the threads is to just click on the La weightloss link up at the top of the page. It will take you to the page where you can view all the threads.

I didn't like the Double-Chocolate lites until I put them in the microwave. You might want to try it-they're great for choc fixes!
