I am thinking of trying this South beach diet. I am 25, 130 pounds, I don't have much to lose but I am looking for a diet that I can follow for the rest of my life... I have been hearing a lot of this SBD. Can anyone give me a brief summary of this diet...I am planning to get the book this week sometime.
One of the things I love about the Beach is how flexible and realistic it is - I've found that having a diet (as in way of eating, not weight-loss necessarily) which takes into account my human nature is vital to my success with it, since there are some things I'm flexible on, but there are some things I'm not!
I love the SBD because it is very flexible and accounts for a wide variety of tastes. I was nervous about starting it because I wondered if I would find enough different things I would like to eat, but it's been great so far! You'll find a lot of wonderful support and information on this forum!
