Default Anyone doing Slimming World?

Right, to cut a very long story short, as you can see, I've been hovering on this site for many years I won't go into any great detail as I'm sure many of you are already well aware from your own personal experiences what's been going on!!

Anyway, things have come to a head this morning ... had a huge row with hubby about me never sticking to any kind of diet ... I put up a weight loss chart on the fridge in September, lost a few pounds, then stopped filling it in because of obvious reasons ... you get the picture?!!

Well, here I am in Hong Kong ... the land of skinny people! ... finding it very difficult to stay motivated and feel like I need to try something completely new to me. When I was at home in the UK I never tried Slimming World, although a relative of mine was very successful with it a few years ago. I noticed that you can join the club online and am very tempted to do so ... not a great time to start a new regime with run up to Christmas/New Year, but is there ever a right time?

Is there anyone here who's currently doing SW and having success? Do you find it easy to follow or is it complicated to get into? Are you able to stick to it without feeling hungry or deprived? My downfall is wine ... can't do without it, especially at the weekend!

Any advice or info that anyone can give me will be much appreciated ... I need to do something soon!!

My Mum is doing SW and finding it easy to stick to, it's a very healthy eating plan. She's lost 9lbs in 4 weeks. You should still be able to have your wine as long as you count it in your syns for the day!

Good luck - I'm sure you'll do well

Helloooooo

Well... I lost 3 stone on it last year then stopped going and put most of it back on... since then I have joined up again about twice and not really stuck to it. It is a really good plan if you stick to it. Like any plan I guess!

I am finding it very easy this time around but due to being skinto will have to stay away until after Chrimbo. I know I will have to pay it all back but still, I am trying hard to stick to it (apart fromt he crisps and mars bar I just had to have today......)
