Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself to all of you.
I am a 27-year-old grad student in Florida, and I have been on the South Beach Diet with my husband for 10 days now. I am loving it so far and already enjoying the healthier way of life we are adopting. We spent our first ten months of marriage in a rut of unhealthy take-out and pre-packaged foods. Our excuse was "we don't have time to cook healthy foods", but I realized that we could do better. We chose the SBD because we liked the flexibility, knew people who had done it with long-term success, and were impressed with the variety of foods suggested.
I came across this website yesterday, and it seemed like a wonderful, supportive community. So I signed up today, and I look forward to meeting everyone!
