Default I'm Back

Hello all. Well I have been gone since March (due to financial difficulties) and boy did I ever gain. I have been researching and putting together meal plans with a variety of foods so as not to give up again. DH is joining me again also as he gained all his weight back but no more. I have really got to do this right this time. My little body just can't take all this weight anymore. I am also hoping to start walking this upcoming week. I will restart phase 1 on Monday. This will give me time to finish my meal planning and get to the store. I look forward to being here again. I found some new recipes to try for phase 1 also. My short term goal for the rest of the year is to not gain anymore weight. I would love to lose but with Christmas coming I will just be happy with not gaining anymore.

back, Vking! We're glad to have you with us again!

Sounds like you are making some great realistic plans. Try adding in exercise as much as you can...that'll help increase muscle mass so you'll possible lose in spite of the holidays. My DH and I walked everywhere when we went to Europe last year and I went totally off plan, but I didn't gain an ounce, thanks to all that walking (including climbing 750 stairs or so to get to the top of St. Paul's, then another 450 or so to get to the top of the Cathedral in Cologne...). Exercise is great!
