Sounds like you are making some great realistic plans. Try adding in exercise as much as you can...that'll help increase muscle mass so you'll possible lose in spite of the holidays. My DH and I walked everywhere when we went to Europe last year and I went totally off plan, but I didn't gain an ounce, thanks to all that walking (including climbing 750 stairs or so to get to the top of St. Paul's, then another 450 or so to get to the top of the Cathedral in Cologne...). Exercise is great!
